Default Canada Day

I am agreeing with you 100% yesterday was the day for all of the celebrations in my town and it seemed like at every corner there were people with some sort of donation or ticket booth set up! What ever happened to just celebrating!

Post Canada Day??

Your right!!! I too went out and found too many places where all they wanted was for you to donate to something or other. And with all the stores open too it just didn't seem to be much of a celebration to me.

Kinda glad we didnt go out , my 5 month old is sick with respiratoory problems so my 7 year old was sad we didnt go to the fair but we were able to sit on our patio and watch the fireworks last night i think thats the best part of canada day anyways.

i didn't even go out till later last night..and i still missed the foreworks..lol! my son went to his grandparents house for the long weekend and my fiancee had to work till later in the afternoon, so i just stayed in and cleaned the house. doesn't seem very exciting..but i got a lot done. it's soo much easier to clean without a toddler "helping". lol!

We went out last night... our town put on a fire work show... it didn't cost us anything but time trying to come back home when the evening was over!

i have to say though even though we spent money on the bouncers the glow bracelets and stuff like that it was still worth it! canada day in our family is a family day we spend together and have fun so what ever the cost it is certainly worth it because we have fun together as a family.
