I think the title of this post is dishonest. As the original poster gets rewarded with a gift card if they get 10 people to sign up using their link but if anyone uses the link they just get entered in a draw. At least the op'er should say in their post that it is a chance to win not a free giftcard.

The asterisk would imply fine print that should be included in the body of your message saying that by following the link and joining individuals will not get a free g/c but will be entered into a draw.

In the body of your message you just wrote what it takes to qualify to join Cananada Talk Now. If you had including a statement saying that it is a draw it would be honest also it would fit under the contest catorgory not freebie cause people are being entered in a contest.
