Every year over 230,000 new individuals are granted Canadian permanent residence. As Permanent Residents, they are entitled to work, pay tax, obtain healthcare and contribute fully as members of Canadian society. However, they are not entitled to vote or carry Canadian passports - this is a privilege of Citizenship.

Canadian citizenship can only be obtained after 3 years of permanent residence and the passing of a multiple choice examination. But would you pass this test yourself? Take the test to see if you really deserve to call yourself a Canadian!

actually, a few of mine were decent guesses. If I honestly counted only the answers I was sure of my result would have been more like 8/14
