Okay I need to vent. I got scammed. Yes I was not thinking straight and applied for a loan online. Got approved and was asked to sent a security deposit throught western Union. I did but got my money before the so called company got it. WHEW for me but I come to find out alot of people have been duped by this in Canada. One guy lost 2500 and others have lost as well. I almost lost 500. I have been checking into it and this company has been listed with other names and just when the scam getts all the money they need they change names. the domain always stay the same though. CANWESTCREDIT in Vancouver DO NOT USE. I have been in touch with my police department as have alot of others and it being dealt with. If you would like any other info on this, just pm me and I will give all the details. I was told it is illegal to ask for a security deposit on a loan.

The way to tell if a scam is a scam is any company thats asks for money in exchange for a free gift, etc. is a scam and if it too good to be true its a scam.

Yes that is true. It is illegal to ask for money when getting a loan. Canadian money advisor website is awesome. If you have any questions about loan companies this is the place to go.

Thanks HappyCappy for doing that. It is just amazing how these people can get away with it. I emailed them today just saying that the loan was not placed in my account and called him too. He has not returned any of my calls or emails. He was very prompt before. Anyway thanks for all the good words, it was kinda dumb to do but we need to learn from others mistakes.
