I think the moderators should have sticky topics - such as what you received in the mailbox and what you didn't receive. Along with what are Google spam ad sites, another suggestion would be to have a faq page for the newbies and some freebies that actually come so they don't feel so jilted. When I first started out on a previous freebies site, I found it so frustrating trying to find freebie links and contest links that I gave up.

I think like the freebie threads, there should be threads for contests based on their end date. There by eliminating reposts and old contests that may have not been deleted but are still on the sites.

Next Thursday, March 15th, plan on stopping by your local Starbucks between 10am and 12 noon. During that time, Starbucks will be holding is 2nd annual Coffee Break. All company-operated and licensed Starbucks stores in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Greater China will be giving away free Tall (12-ounce) cups of coffee to anyone who drops by. Starbucks Coffee Masters clad in black aprons will be present during each of the coffee breaks to kick off the company's spring brewing sale and to answer any questions you might have about the coffee or coffee brewing. Last year, many stores used the coffee break period to sample some of their pastries out to customers waiting in line, as well.

Hiya PrairieDawn,

Thankyou so much for your suggestions, the site is still really new and there is alot of work to be done and every suggestion helps. We do have a sticky for the mailbox, its in the newest freebies for canadians, we have been shuffeling things around so mabey its easy to miss, something else for us to think about..LOL. Will definatley think about one for freebies not recieved cause that is nice to know...nothing worse then wasting your time sending for a freebie the wont come..LOL..we are working on the other stuff you mentioned and I do like your idea of putting in some "guarenteed" freebies for the newbies to start with, I know exactly which ones you are talking about!!!
As for your idea about a thread for US or UK freebies, I think we would rather keep it all canadian..thats what this is for..canadian freebies, because its hard to find really good places to go for freebies if you are a canadian( I hope that made sense LOL)
