| Junior Beaver Join Date: May 2007 Location: Keswick Ontario |  FACT to Save $ & get purchases FREE Anywhere! Yesterday I went to Canadian Tire to buy a cheep Jigsaw to put in a cat door. The price on the shelf was $15.99, when I got to check out, it came up as $19.99, so I told the cashier it said $15.99 on the shelf... The Manager came over to make the corrections and told me this important FACT: Most stores now, soon, all.. have a new policy. If at the register the price of an item is off $5.00, they will take $10.00 off of the lowest price. If it is off $10.00 or more.. the purchase of that item is absolutly FREE! So... I stood in shock for a few moments when the price I had to pay for this Jigsaw was only $5.99.... tha blades cost more then the machein  So Keep Your eyes wide open to your prices!

| Diva Beaver  | I know in many other stores, it doesn't even have to be $5 off! Other stores have a policy where, if the price of the product on the shelf is different than the price it shows at the checkout, you get the product for FREE! That's right, FREE!!!! |

They are frequently wrong at the till, prob go bankrupt if they honored that policy. Tried, like said: I wouldn't mind it free, since the price is wrong, no comment. :o( |
