Exclamation Flood

Hi just sitting here looking out the window at more rain wonderig if our town is really going to be under water by sunday. I live in central bc where the flooding is the worst its been since most people can remember. It actually pretty crazy being able to see the water level going up everytime you pass by the river! From what I here itès not supposed to get better till aug.
Glad I dont live on the river!!!!

We've been watching it too luckly we sit up on a hill and arent at risk but my 7 yr old daughter made a comment about how she hopes it floods soon so she can use her dolphin inflatable toy in the water ... dont think she actually gets what it means when it floods lol tried to tell her but she got caught up with the dog and she ran off saying ok mom. Hope the water goes down though alot of people are at risk ..

I grew up in an area that frequently flooded every 5 years or so.
I remember as a Kid, thinking I should build a raft so we can go to town.
Or I needed bigger rubber boots.
Flooding = not leaving your house ( for me back then)
I know live in a place that does not flood. The odd basement, but nothing major.

I hope for your sake it quits raining, and stops the flooding.

Some of the basements and streets in the area I live in got flooded a few weeks back.. We had a nasty rainfall.. I live in Timmins... I live by a lake so all we could do was sit back and keep watching the levels in the lake didn't get too high.. It did flood the trails here..

Its so shocking to see the flooding in BC, hopefully things are starting to improve now.The tornado in Manitoba was just terrible, the weather has been weird all over the world, people in britain also died in the bad weather there.
