| Guru Beaver | We have had a bunch of animals- one dog and 3 cats but the dog died of old age, another real sweet cat -who had to have diabetic shots every day finally succumbed to it,sons ex took one cat and now we have just one sweet little torti left here. She is 13 years old this year but very active and playfull still. She missed the others as they departed but finally seems to have accepted shes on her own now.I hope she lives a long time like some of the cats mentioned on this thread. We would like another dog but with traveling so much we cant. |

That's so funny. We had a dog named Sadie. She was a boxer and got into alot of trouble. for example: my parents came to our house to drop off something after they went grocery shopping. they left the back opened in the truck the dog jumped into the back found the bag with the meat in it and well you guessed it had a snack!!!! My mom phoned and said her meat bag was light every package was opened neatly and folded back but no meat inside. We did feed her!!!lol | |

| Moderator ![]() | we had a Guinea pig, Her name was Cutie but she got old and had to be put 2sleep last year at this time, the kids cried for weeks and even invited all the grand parents, aunts and uncle to the "funeral' in our back yard (the head stone is still there) I felt so bad for them so we adopted my new best friend Lucy from a no-kill shelter (in Leamington ontario) she was about a month old and found abandoned in a ditch with her eyes so infected that she couldn't open them and very mal nurished...we got her 2 days after she was found, poor kitty...so after what seems like a million dollars and countless trips to the vet she is finally healthy and here are some pics Cutie and Lucy ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Moderator ![]() Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Earth (where else?) | I have a cat and her age is kind of a mystery to us cause the shelter didn't know when she was born so we think she is either still 1 or 2 by now |

| Junior Beaver | I have a cat named Marmalade....he also suffers from aniexty....got out one night and was gone for 2 days. When he came back he was covered in dirt and his collar was gone and he was scared. He began peeing everywhere and would jump at the slightest movements. I thought I was going to lose my mind. He never peed on the carpet but would pee on towels, clothes, shoes etc. He went on a kitty anti anxiety drug and it STOPPED. He was weaned off of it and that was almost two months ago and he peed on a towel two days ago. I am losing my mind. Now I have to try and find a vet that will treat him (or rather talk to me) in English. I guess it needed to happen sooner or later......he's lucky he's cute |
