| Wise Beaver  Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Somewhere not warm enough! |  I'm sick of the Calgary Stampede UGH I really hate this time of year. I have lived in Calgary my whole life and I just find it a pain. An extra million people or so in our city higher gas prices ect. The only good thing about it is the weather its been soooo hot. I do admit that the Stampede is alot of fun and there is so much to do, not just rides and games ect, but the prices are so high for everything..nothing like paying 3 bucks for a bottle of water...LOL. Every where all you hear is Stampede this and Stampede this..hahah so looking forward to Sunday..Good riddance till next year..LOL What are your thoughts of the Stampede..have you been? Do you want to go? What are your thoughts?
