Kids eating methamphetamine

Okay this is getting really sad now. And serious, I am not sure who watches Nancy Grace but her show is great and so is she. The last few months there has been numerous cases of children ingesting drugs and alcohol. One mom put vodka in bottle of 3 month old but said she thought is was water. two daycares have had children who ingested drugs and now a mom taped her childs souther to her babies mouth and tied its hands so the souther would stay in her mouth. the baby died. I am not sure what is happening in the world but is this getting worse or do you think it has always been like this and we are just hearing about it more often.

If they were that irresponsible, they shouldn't have had kids.

yes back in the days we didnt hear all about all this sadness,but now i find the news getting out of hand ,the news ppl soak up this stuff like a sponge ,all negitive stuff on the news and not enouph positive .

yes it really is sad. We do need more postive new these days. Anne Murray sings a song about this and it is so true. but it does seem like there is not alot of positive to talk about....:confused:

i work in a maximum prison. i/ve been there for 14 years and before i was a probation officer. The horror stories are worse then your worse nightmares. Love your kids and keep them near.

you could not have said it better, having 2 beautiful children of my own I now see what an utterly scary place the world is, some say I am "overprotective" but at least I know they are safe and well cared for...they are my most prescious things in life and I surely would protect them by any means, like they say "you would not dare cross a mother bear with cubs"--there is such a close bond between mother and child and I just do not understand how any one could ever harm a child.
One story I heard on the news recently, I believe it was is Saskatchewan at a Wal-Mart A mother tried to drown her newborn baby in a toilet, and thenk god one of the staff there found the baby, performed cpr and the baby is ok now, but how upsetting, if they dont love their own child why cant they just give it to someone who would love it and give it all they could, some people who can not bear children would give anything to have one to call their own, to love and cherish.

i would also like to add that i recieved an email warning me that meth was being sold in the form of the candy pop rocks in different flavors so i just thought i would share that with all the people who have or know children

Ive heard the same thig about the meth candy pop rocks.I have no idea how any parent could do such very cruel things to their kids.Most moms are overprotective and thats how it should be.Its very sad these stories of abuse and murder of babies.
