Iced Coffee
In the past, coffee was almost exclusively considered a hot beverage but in recent years it has gained popularity with young and old as a refreshing iced drink!

Iced Cappuccino: Prepare strong coffee and let cool. Drop one scoop of vanilla ice cream in a cup to simulate cappuccino foam and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

Iced Chocolate Moka: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 250 ml (1 cup) of strong black coffee, 125 ml (1/2 cup) of whole milk and 30 g (1 oz) of semi-sweet chocolate. Stir until chocolate has melted and refrigerate or pour into a large glass filled with ice. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Caramel Iced Coffee: Prepare strong black coffee and add 30 ml (2 tbsp) of coffee cream and 15 ml (1 tbsp) of commercial caramel sauce for every 250 ml (1 cup) of coffee. Stir well until caramel has completely dissolved then refrigerate and serve in a large glass with a gourmet cookie, such as Pirouline.

Iced Tea

There is more to iced tea than the kind made with black tea, sugar and lemon! There exists a wide variety of original concoctions.

Chai: Pour 250 ml (1 cup) of boiling water over a chai (spicy tea) tea bag and let steep for about 5 minutes. Remove and dispose of tea bag. Add 75 ml (5 tbsp) of whole milk to tea and 20 ml (4 tsp) of brown sugar then stir well to completely dissolve the sugar, refrigerate.

Asian: Pour 250 ml (1 cup) of boiling water over one bag of black tea and one star anise and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove and dispose of tea bag. If you want, add some milk and refrigerate.

Mid-Eastern: Pour 250 ml (1 cup) of boiling water over one bag of green tea and 6 green cardamom seeds and let steep for 2 minutes. Remove and dispose of tea bag. Sweeten with honey to taste and refrigerate.
