Thumbs up Making a cookbook...recipes please

A co-worker of mine has just recently moved out on his own. To help him out I have decided to make him a cook book with simple recipes.
Does anyone have any easy recipes for a 19yr old boy...thanks

pour into 2 large baking dishes chill and cut into squares

Easy Meatloaf.

Mix Raw Hamberger with one egg and crackers till feels right.
Add 1 cup of Catsup or one can of tomato soup.
Add one chopped onion
Add any seasonings you want or have.

Put in Bread Pan for 1 hour at 375 degrees.

Also if you have any left over mashed potatoes. Put one layer of Burger mixture in bottom, then add mashed potatoes, then another layer of Burger.

Default easy chicken curry

this one is very easy, all done in one frying pan - tell him to keep a few cans of condensed cream soup at hand and he's got the base for it... and he should keep a box of minute rice on hand.

~curry powder
~a chicken breast
~minute rice
~can of condensed -cream- soup [we like mushroom]
~half the suggested amount of water or milk [half the can]
~a little cooking oil
~a frying pan
~a bowl for pre-mixing the soup with water/milk
~[optional: frozen veggies]
~[optional: pita bread]

1] brown the chicken in a frying pan [cut up or left whole - the main thing is that it gets cooked through!]
2] start your minute rice [generally one cup water, bring to boil, add one cup minute rice, remove from heat and leave -covered- for 5 minutes, done]
3] [optional: add veggies]
4] add curry powder to liking [I use 2-3 tablespoons]
5] pre-mix soup and water/milk in a bowl and add to the chicken in the pan... cook until it looks mixed thouroughly and it's hot

~put it all together on a plate, [optional:serve with pita]~ ENJOY!

Default pantry must-haves!

I was trying to remember what I survived off of back in the day and here's what I always kept in my pantry, which was a kitchen cupboard and the fridge-freezer back then.

~cans of: tuna, condensed soup, corn, spaghetti sauce
~packets of: side dishes, indomie [insta-noodles, like ramen], minute-rice
~spices: garam masala, curry powder
~pasta: spaghetti, macaroni, fettucine
~fridge: parmesan cheese, pepperoni sticks, fake-mayo
~freezer: veggies, pre-cut english muffins, leftovers

I put down fake-mayo because real mayonaise goes bad and turns into poison when left out and most bachelors don't know/care-about/believe it.

I'll post more recipes later... my under-two and four can't be heard aside from the occasional thump, so I'd best be off... -r.

p.s. not sure how close you are/how far he has to travel with his stuff, but you could put together a reasonably-priced bachelor basket for him to take?!
