Question Question about veggies

Hey guys! I'm new-ish around here. These posts are adding up fast though!!

I've been a vegetarian for about two years now, and I was just wondering about what your guys' opinion about the farm animals industry. I've been thinking about it lately, and most of my friends aren't meat-eaters either.

So my question is: Do you guys think that they're fair, cruel, or do you not care? Any opinion is of course fine, I just thought it was an interesting topic!

I'm a vegetarian as well. I'm strongly against farming animals because of the cruel ways that the animals are treated. You can get a free magazine from PETA about which is very persuasive about vegetarianism.

Im not a vegetarian though do try to eat healthy and try to buy organic meat with no antibiotics injected into the animals. We dont eat much meat though and try to eat fish and chicken instead.I hate the thought of battery hens cooped up in little cages, free range are my choice of eggs and chicken when the hens have a chance to run around and enjoy life.Same with veggies organic is the way to go,you can get away with regular for fruit with a thick skin but thin skinned are full of pesticides which helps cause all the illnesses that are previlent now.It is expensive to buy organic as it takes the farmers at least five years to get their land ready, cheaper alternative is to grow your own with out using any pesticides and try and freeze some for winter, lots of work but worth it if it keeps everyone heathy.
