Ok so I haven't been around much lately. I am stuck in the Children's Hospital with my daughter once again. We have only been home for about 7 weeks since the beginning of this year and I am really getting sick of this place. Please hold my daughter 'Katie' in your thoughts and prayers as she goes in for her 25th surgery later this week.

Oh dear I really hope you and of course your daughter and everyone is "hanging in there".
I have some idea of what your going through, and I really hope you have a good support system around you and your family.

Katie's surgery was this morning and everything went well. Unfortunately she has a clot sitting next to her heart at the moment and we are trying to break it up with different med's. We will know by tommorrow afternoon if this works. If not she will have to go into surgery again to remove the clot.

Katie had to go back into the operating room again yesterday to remove the clot and give her a new line (she has a special IV that goes right into her heart, she has had it for 6 months). She is doing well but the stitches and dressings are really bugging her.

Yay, we're finally home again. Katie is doing much better now. We pray that she will stay healthy for a while so that we can enjoy being at home for a while. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayer's, and well-wishes...durring our hospital stay. You Guys Are Great!
