So it's another nice sunny day here in Northern Alberta. I'm simply putting up and getting up some new raffles for the forum, and another one for the Blog Newsletter.

And getting ready for one of our Lake Trips ....... So all this needs to be done today.

Other than that, I'm just going to continue to do a good cleaning.

I'm amazed that our Dexter ( Bengal) is getting along so well with our new addition baby kitten. I call the kitten Dexter's chew toy, since he always bathing or wrestling with the little guy.

And this kitten has such a girly meow, it's not even funny. Especially compared to Dexter whom has quite the voice box on him.

Hi Mommyof1 - weather here today started off beautiful but got dark/cloudy and gonna get miserable soon with t-storms/wind and rain. In a watch alert last time i checked. Managed to get a bit of weeding done today but now its time to rest in bed before everyone gets home and the chaos begins again.

As for the bracelet - it is gorgeous! I don't have anything as elegant as this and i think as like everyone else who will come to yak it up - i'd love to win it as well! There also is a very pretty raffle too with a necklace and ring!

Sorry... But in My head I call you Papa John...... I will try to say Papaj..... but I don't know..... LOL.

I worked with a older John, and he was super duper friendly, anyhow, since he was old enough to be my dad, and was the eldest of them all .... we nick named him Papa John.

So Papa John just comes easy to me

Haha It's ok @rastagirl and @HappyCappy a lot of people get confused over my nickname and call me Papa John. My username was actually suppose to be PapaJ500 with a capital J because with Papaj it sounds like it is a Indian sort of name or something but that is fine haha.

I got the nickname back in elementary school from my grade 3 gym teacher. He was a great PE teacher and was always nice to me and my friends. I am a heavy set guy so he stuck me with the Papa J nickname and ever since everyone calls me it. I love it compared to other nicknames some of the other students made up for me that's for sure haha. I remember I wore an all blue heavy winter jacket to school one time and they called me blueberry haha what a nickname but I am glad the Papa J one stuck and not that.

Now i have a sort of fruit of the loom thing but with a blueberry image in my head @Papaj500

I got called nasty names from the other kids growing up - like flat rat cause of the area we lived in, wop cause they thought i was italian and some other ones cause i was diagnosed with JA at 10 - kids can be so cruel.

@WendyLady36 you are so right with how kids can be and it is not just "these days" like a lot of the more experienced people say, it has been going on for hundreds of years, but that is society for you.

So far though, its Blueberry and Pear! We need a few more and we could be the fruit salad bunch! haha
