howdy CFS fans !We don't have any pets because i'm just not a pet person, but my bf is dying to get a puppy. His whole family are pet lovers, his sister has 2 cats, his brother has a dog and a growing collection of reptiles, his parents have 4 dogs and his uncle has so many different animals I can't even count. I actually can't think of anyone in his family I've met who doesn't have a pet....which almost makes me feel bad for not letting him get a puppy. Almost.

Aly - awww let him have a puppy! I don't think i could handle not having a pet - have had dogs/cats/small rodents etc all my life so going without something cute and furry is torture. It is also good to teach kids young about life and death - both my kids understood it by the age of 5 or 6 because of hammies.

Aww really Aly!
I am such an animal person. I love them all!
In fact, I was just sitting outside right now and watching the birds. My Dad just threw out bread for them and they are so precious. They all flew in to feed their young.
I have been trying to get my parents to get me a puppy for 21 years and still no luck although I will get one, one day. x)Gift Hulk: http://www.gifthulk.com/refer/Keeper

Found a site by accident where you look up cheaters. Entered myself = nothing. Entered hubs = nothing. Entered my ex = 6 ppl looked him up so far :O I always thought he cheated when we were married but never had proof, makes me think my instincts were spot on.

lol Keeper - I always asked for a puppy when I was little so my parents got me a stuffed Dog. I'm thinking they made the right decision as my imagination could only stretch so far as to name it Doggy.

I'm not much of an animal person either Aly. I'm allergic to cats, so I think that's the main reason I don't really like them, just because they make me feel awful when I'm around them. I don't mind dogs, as long as I know they have a good personality, won't bite or jump on me, etc. I wish I was a little more comfortable around them, it takes me some time to get used to them. We used to have fish and hamsters as kids, which was pretty fun, but nothing bigger than that.

Haha, that is adorable Skadi!
A very unique and original name as I'm sure there is no other dog named Doggy.
Ooh, that sounds quite interesting Wendy.
I'm happy to hear that you have a clean record. ^^
Just going to head off to bed soon. Its almost 2am over here.
Take care and speak to you all later.

Morning everyone
Early start to the day again here today but i sure love the quiet.
Storms last night pretty much died down and just ended up with rain here and there. We have a bit of water in the dirt basement but thankfully nothing major!
Hope everyone wakes up peacefully this morning. When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!

Good morning everyone!
Sounds like you have a busy day a head of you Papaj500. I'm sure it will be nice to see your family from Newfoundland tomorrow though
I'm taking my sister shopping later today, it should be nice to get some girl time together. We went out shopping last week too, I had great luck finding things, but she didn't have as much luck. One of the stores we went to was closing and trying to get rid of clothes, so nothing in the store was over $10! I picked up a dress, skirt, and two tank tops for great prices. They had bathing suits for $3.50 a piece and picked up a few, that was such a deal for me. Hopefully it will be her turn to be lucky today and we'll find some clothes for her this time

Sure sounds like you have a busy day Papaj! Hope it's a good one, even though it's a busy one
.
Well, my daughter got on the bus for the last time this school year. I so desperately wanted to tell her she was getting a special award at school today but the school wants to keep it secret from the kids, so it's a nice little surprise for them. Whatever it's for, we're proud of her
. Out of J/K this year, and into S/K next.
It's a little cloudy at the moment, but supposed to be a mix of sun and cloud this afternoon. I have some stuff to do around the house, including finish getting myself ready for pics tonight, all that BEFORE I get 5littlemonkeys at his last pickup spot so he can come home, shower and off to the school we go. I want good seats for pic purposes so we gotta be there as early as possible. Of course, procrastination mode kicks in and nothing gets done LOL. It's all good though, it'll get done, but first, I need a coffee, then put my makeup on *I don't wear much, just eyeliner, mascara and lipstick for the most part*, shower and dress Hailey, get Alyssa dressed, then pack some diapers, wipes, toys, spare clothing for the little ones for their overnight stay at the inlaws tonight. Not much, but when you have to get it all done before a certain time, it seems like you have NO time for anything. Oh well, it's all good lol.

Thanks atsirk! I can't wait to see what it's for, when I sent a note in her agenda last week asking, her teacher said sorry, no she isn't getting one. Then she sent a new note saying sorry, she made a mistake, Heather IS getting one. I needed to know so we could attend and see her receive it. Usually they tell you what the award is, but she didn't write it in the agenda, so right now, it's a mystery to everyone lol.
And yes, everything will get done, I pretty much got the clothes together last night when I went through the laundry basket, I just took stuff from there lol, just need to toss it in a backpack with diapers and wipes

Papaj - sounds like you are going to have not only a productive day but a nice one too.
Blooming - i use to be just as excited when my kids were getting awards too. It is so cool seeing how proud of themselves they are when their name gets called.
Atsirk - i use to love shopping hunts with a friend of mine before she moved to Edmonton
We would go to all sort of second hand stores/discount or dollar stores and poke about. I sure do miss her but am glad she is finally where she has fought to be since i first met her.
One of our cats (16+ flame point siamese) has been yowling like a turd since i got up. He has been fed, loved, cuddled and even threatened to be put on a stick but he just keeps on yowling. I wish he'd just nap already! When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!

canada day should be great, I will be going to civic park to listen to my friends sing.. I sent a little bitch note to our festivals committee last year.. i was so sick of going to listen to these cover bands, they were the same every year.. you know.. bon jovi wanna-bees, the same lady switching wigs and outfits so she is no longer hanna montana, now she is christina aguilera.. you get the picture.. these bands cost a lot of money, and it is a free concert.. so i said why are you throwing money out the window every year, when you could be keeping those dollars local and supporting our own local talent.. and there is LOTS.. for years i performed as an actress in our local kabaret charitable foundation, and there are soooo many wonderful singers, and bands, past and present.. so i can't wait to see my friends up there entertaining their hometown.. we party for a week here in kirkland lake, they call it the "homecoming" event.. this year it will ring true

Eww Wendy, I HATE when cat's do that! Hope he stops soon for you, that would drive me bonkers! Sorry you lost your shopping buddy, but glad that she acheived what she set out after
.
I'm sure Heather will be proud of it, and it'll be one more thing to put on our "Award Wall". It's a wall of all diplomas and awards the kids have ever gotten, minus a couple smaller things like swim certificates. I should take a pic when her award and our oldest's grade 6 diploma gets added. I think I need a bigger wall lol!
So, in the time that I was gone, I:
~ dressed Alyssa and put her down for a nap
~ showered, dressed and did Hailey's hair. She's now watching Care Bears.
~ made a coffee lol
~ washed Alyssa's bottles
~ got a nightgown and change of clothes for Hailey packed, and packed diapers and wipes for both girls, along with the onesie for Alyssa to sleep in. Just need a nightgown for Heather a change of clothes has already been packed for her, along with an outfit for Alyssa for tomorrow.
Just enjoying my coffee, then gonna get my eyeliner and mascara on, then wait for it to be time to get 5littlemonkeys from his last pickup. I've decided, the mess of toys, the not yet put away laundry and the little bit of dishes can wait till tomorrow, unless I get ambitious and do the dishes, which I just might. Not many, but enough lol.

I cried through the whole thing, people must think i am nuts.. haha.. we had to sit on the balcony and i got dizzy as soon as i walked in there.. I kept thinking of the mall collapse in Elliot lake, being afraid of heights sucks! I am glad school is going to be out..Austin likes it so much better at home
I wish everyone a happy summer!!

Aww, sounds like it was a good graduation, even though you cried the whole time lol. Heather's going to be so excited about her award, she takes pride in things like that, so this will be great for her! LOL @ Austin, I guess, sounds like a typical kid! We all enjoyed it better at home than at school lol.

Blooming - you are gonna give us all bad names when you are too productive like that - slow down so the rest of us can keep up! LOL
Of course now that everyone is up and gone the yowling kitty has decided it's nap time - i think he does it to drive me nuts. When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!
