Another hot one, hot weather makes me grumpy I was out at 5:30am this morning watering the grass, it was actually quite pleasant then I came in and dozed off on the couch and dreamed that i had woke up and there was snow outside. When I actually woke up I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any snow.

I bet there will be a rush on air conditioner units today. Stay cool everyone.

Morning all

Today has been crap from the moment i got up so i probably wont be around much today as i'm uber grouchy/upset/emotional.

Our dishwasher decided to up and quit in the middle of a cycle and now wont even turn on at all. Hubs took his sweet p time to get up and snapped at me when i said i'd take the inside apart and make sure its cleaned from gunk. He sure has been a jerk the last couple of yrs - specially since my health dive bombed. No one likes to be snapped at - least of all for nothing and most def not first thing in the morning.

If i wasn't in love with him i would leave him cause i hate being made to feel like crap for something i have no control over.

Haha, it is a really hot one over here today Chicky. I believe its 44 degrees with the humidex. x( Although its supposed to cool down quite a bit for the weekend I believe.

Hey all! How is everyone today? The family from Newfoundland has finally gone home so I should have more time to talk these days

@atsirk Thats great that you are having a good day My day has been busy as I am cleaning up from the long week with family. Little cousins make lots of mess haha.
@Keeper Thanks! Family is awesome when they visit, but it's good to have the house back to normal too. The little cousins make a huge mess usually and I have to find half my stuff when they leave haha. Sounds like you're going to have a great day and a fun one tomorrow. What park are you going too?

As much fun as it is, its nice to finally restore some order and get back into a routine once your family is gone.

I'm actually going to Wonderland, Papaj! I have a season pass so I'm used to it by now but I always get excited when we're going with such a large group of people and family.

Afternoon

When it rains it pours is hitting way too close to home today. Last night hubs decided to go to a friends to unwind and enjoy the fire/social outing he needed after a crap week only to end up having his car window smashed and his wallet stolen. I know life is rough all over but steal from others who are in just as bad shape financially is heartless.

If bad things do come in 3's i shudder to think what will happen next.....karma is sure being nasty to us right now and i wish i knew why. I don't believe in the god stuff so please lets not start it here k.

Anyway just popping in to show my face sort of speaking and to say hello and man i hope everyone here is having a better weekend!

Keeper - that dog food we were discussing is called multi menu and so far dog does like it but the samples she gave for the cats have gone untouched and literally ignored except for Tummers who tried it, spit it out then proceeded to clean it up like it was a poopy/puke spot :/

Hopefully Monday things will look up - till then have a great evening all and hug your loved ones and let them know you love them.

i found a great yogurt place today. it's called menchies. you pay by the weight. you get a bowl, fill it up as much as you want of yogurt, toppings and sauces, go to the cash where it is weighed. it's cost 55 cents per oz. i had red velvet and it was sooooo good. they have a loyality card and you get a $5 coupon on your birthday when you register. yippee free yogurt in November

*yawn* Hello everyone! I hope your weekend is going well, and you're all staying cool. It was nice here today, windy and cool.

Monday I have to be up at 5am with all the kids and leave to take our oldest to camp, I am, but not looking forward to it. I love driving, but to get up that early, with 5 kids, I'm beginning to wonder what I was thinking, lol. Oh well, they're calling for good weather, so all should be well.

We've been busy making sure the van is good for me for travelling, hubby's been having some issues with the brakes, so today I was helping bleed them *get the air out* and stuff. Not 100% yet, but they're good for travelling. I was so hoping to have won the millions last night, so we could just get rid of the headache of that van. It was a great price, and a great van when we bought it, then it's been one headache after another. Still a good van, but sheesh.

Papaj500 - wow congrats on your win! What kinda forum/site is that? Maybe I should join up lol.

Wendylady - I sure hope things with you and your hubby get better. You're right to be snapped at isn't fun, though I'm guilty for doing it, alot. But things in other area's around here are stressful, so I tend to just 'lose it' faster. I hope you can get your dishwasher fixed. Maybe if you can, you and hubby need to find somewhere, even for a weekend, and just get away, maybe that would help some?

Well, I'm going to see if 5littlemonkeys might wanna go watch some tv, so I shall talk to you all later. Not sure if I will be around tomorrow, gotta get our son's butt in gear and get him to get his stuff packed and ready for camp, and Monday I will be beat, but maybe when I get home and get the kids settled I will stop in . Sorry for not being around much the last few days, summer's a fun, busy time of year!

Hi @Keeper I'm doing well, how are you? You must be excited for the amusement park tomorrow, I'm jealous! I hope you have a fun time at the sleepover tonight! My plans for the weekend involve being a taxi for my little sister (driving her to hockey, softball, and work) lol but on a more fun note, I'm going out uptown with some friends tonight. I'm being the designated driver, I don't mind taking that role.

@Papaj500 Haha i understand, it's fun having family over, but sometimes leaves a big mess, especially if little ones are around

@rastagirl We have a small store like that in my city, you can get ice-cream or frozen yogurt and there are so many different toppings to chose from! It's a great idea and so much fun to customize your own flavors.
