Skadi: Haha! Eating leaves does not sound appetizing lol. Our neighbor had a crab apple tree and me, my sister, and the neighborhood kids used to eat some. They were so sour but we always felt like we had to try and eat them because everyone else was.

I'm the same way Atsirk! If I am eating something and I don't want someone else to eat it or I don't want to share, I try to eat it quickly as if I'm doing my stomach a favour. My stomach never agrees or thanks me though. xD

My bf wants to get a crab apple tree for the backyard and I asked him if he'll eat the apples and he said no but he used to as a kid but can't now but the memories are why he wants one. I don't want the deer jumping the fence to eat them though.

Good morning everyone (and good afternoon to some already!). It's going to be hot here today...I just walked across the street to tim hortons and I wasn't pleased at how hot it was already. It's only 10:30am! Good thing im wearing my summer dress today, I guess my closet knew of the looming heat when it convinced me what to wear this morning.

We're supposed to have rain and thunderstorms. I sure hope that the rain and thunderstorms hold out until later tonight. My brother has a soccer game in another city today and if we have to drive all the way there only to find out that its canceled, that would be such a shame. :c I am looking forward to it too. Only time I get out of the house during the day. x)

It's supposed to be beautiful here right through the weekend! I'm planning on going camping this weekend too, so I'm hoping it will stay sunny. We had a fire ban all over the province last week, but it rained the other day so it was lifted thank goodness because camping wouldn't be the same without a campfire

Just came back from my brother's soccer game, thankfully there was only a bit of drizzle and no major downpour or thunderstorms.

I hope you have a great time camping Atsirk! I've never been camping before but it definitely sounds like a lot of fun. And I totally agree with you. Camping just doesn't seem/sound the same without a campfire. (:

Skadi - I sure hope you can pull your big haul off! That would be amazing! (= How would you manage to get 20 free soaps? Do you have coupons for each purchase? :o I really hope that No Frills has it in stock for you. That would just be amazing. I always have the same problem when I got to Food Basics near my house. They always advertise something on sale but they never have ANY of it in stock and they don't provide and substitution either. x(

My plans for the weekend including going out of town for my brother's soccer tournament. Its the first one of the season. I truly hope that it will be a good tournament and we can at least make it into the finals and then from there if we lose, I don't mind. I just don't want to come home early. =p I love spending time with the team and all of the other families.

Yeah that last post is an example of not reading a coupon correctly. Boo. I thought it was $2 wub 2 Dove however it is wub 2 DIFFERENT dove products. Fail.

No Frills is terrible throughout the entire city. I've gone to 3 different locations before just to complete my shopping list! Now I just go to Walmart and Price Match if I can.

The Food Basics around here is pretty good at having large amounts of sale items in stock. Too bad its right across from the jail in a bad neighbourhood!

I hate when things fall through.

I went to Superstore and I'm still quite new to couponing so I'm not sure about all of the coupon rules and regulations, however I had 2 Websaver coupons for a free glade starter mist so I picked up two and presented both coupons to the cashier and she mentioned that it was one coupon per purchase, which I was confused at first and didn't understand. She explained to me that I could only use one coupon and get one free starter mist with this purchase and if I wanted the other one, it would have to be a separate transaction. Either she was right or she must have totally been confused as well. From my understanding I thought that if you have two coupons and two of the same products, I thought that you could use one coupon on each product, as long as you have a coupon for each item, that's what I thought one coupon per purchase meant. x) I know that we cannot coupon stack in Canada which sucks by the way, but if she was right and you have to do a separate transaction, that is such hassle. =p

Ooh, that's not good that its in a bad neighborhood. I'd be quite scared myself to venture over there. I always stick to Superstore and Walmart, speaking of which we need to do grocery. x)

Hope everyone is ready for a weekend! It sure has been a long week with my son working. I've been getting up at 5:30am no matter what and it sure is taking a toll. He has one more day to deliver then a day off! At least he is now waking on his own from his alarm....maybe next week i wont have to get up as much.

I was going through my coupons for a shop this week and i gotta say it is looking pitiful! Anyone else notice the lack of freebies/good coupons the last couple of weeks or am i just not on the ball?

Well i gotta get more coffee into me, lots to catch up on today and not a whole lot of umph going on!
