I'm excited, our 4 year old daughter, Heather is getting an award this coming Wednesday at the end of the school year awards assembly! I had asked in her agenda last week, and her teacher said no she wasn't. So while her agenda was sitting beside me on the couch, I decided to look cause something said I should check it *I hadn't in the last couple days*, and was happy to see the note from her teacher saying she made a mistake, Heather IS receiving an award!! I'm so excited and proud of her, her first year in school and receiving a special award, I can't wait to see what it's for!

I see you guys were talking a bit about bullying earlier. I too have been bullied and it's awful. I don't imagine there are many people who weren't bullied at some point in their lives. which is just sad.

This weekend has been a good one. Lots of BBQs. Celebrated a birthday with a friend and got to spend some time with the boyfriend who hasn't been around all week. They have him doing tons of overtime at work lately so the only time we've been spending together is when we're sleeping.

Got caught in the rain on the way home tonight. It was kind of nice. I love the rain, but I'm not a fan of wet shoes and socks.

I'm just waiting for True Blood to come on and then I'm probably headed for bed. Will catch up with everything on the forums tomorrow.

Aly - I am so glad you had a great weekend and was able to spend sometime with your boyfriend. It definitely is difficult to not see a loved one for a long time even if it is just a week. That's how I often feel when my Mom is doing overtime and I hardly get to see here.

I'll just be here lurking about for a bit so I'll keep checking here to see if there is anyone around. n_n

Got up nice and early today for a change (4:40am) I sure do like how my day goes if i'm able to get up this early. I've been on the hunt to see a humming bird and if i'm lucky snap a pic of it but alas i've yet to be successful.

@WendyLady36 I just love humming birds they are so neat. Their wings go like 1000 km per hour haha. Do you have a humming bird feeder?

@Papaj500 No feeder yet but i have a lot of flowers in the yard that are suppose to attract them. I live in a rural area with a lot and a half sized yard with a tiny little house. Mostly yard with lots of trees/flowers etc Suppose to be prime area for humming birds but i've yet to see one in the 7 yrs i've lived here. We do however have squirrels 4 blocks away so it'd be nice to have them come make a home in the yard.
