I will draw the winner tonight sometime, say close to 9pm EST? My afternoon's been hectic and I need to get dishes washed and supper going soon, and the kids are being a handful. And you know, I just love keeping people in suspense lol!

Keeper - I was born and raised down there, grew up in Scarborough, and after my grandmother passed away, we left and came North. That was about 17 years ago. I haven't been down there since, so I'm looking forward. I heard the area where I went to highschool is all changed and all built up now, so it'll be something to see.

I do have a digital camera, 2 of them actually, they both will be coming with us, as well, Saturday we just bought a full sized camcorder, we have the flip one that I won from here on CFS last year, however we wanted one with a bigger capacity etc, so we'll have lots of pics/video's I'm sure! We've been to smaller zoo's etc, but the T.O Zoo is where I wanna go, there's so much to do there! I saw about the new white lions, that's definately one spot we're going to see, and the boys wanna go to stingray bay, I saw on the zoo website that this is the last year for the stingrays to be there, so may as well go there while they can still see them! I'm unsure what else we're doing while down in the area, I'd like to take them to the C.N.E, but that's still a 'we'll see' thing. My best friend said she'll keep the 2 little ones if we wanted to go, so we'll figure that out when the time comes.

Anyways, it's just about 4pm, so I need to get off and do some stuff. It's been a hectic day all the way around, so I will draw tonight. Keep your eyes out to see who the lucky winner is!

Sorry i've been MIA the last few days. Hit a few rough spots trying to get a lot done for the Hubs b day yesterday. Not back to perfect yet but sitting is always good.

I am now officially engaged to my common-law-hubs - i purposed to him yesterday and obviously he said yes.

Been back up to the 30's here again and humidity from hell.....very unusual for my area of the world too. No bad storms yet tho so i guess that is good.

Keeper - sorry to hear your brother hurt his knee before the big game. Hope his team did well!

Blooming - with 4 kids i'm surprised you have time to even think about anything other then 'Mom" stuff!

Well i gotta get motoring - i'm so behind in everything online and off that it is a bit overwhelming trying to catch up!

BloomingRose - That sounds just wonderful! You are absolutely right. I totally forgot about the stingray bay. Supposedly for $2 you can feed them as well and they are safe to touch. ^^

CNE would be lovely to see as well. Haven't been since I was a youngin'. x) If you're interested in rides, Canada's Wonderland would be nice to see as well. There is tons of rides for your little ones in the kids section.

Pretty adventurous weather day here, a big line of thunderstorms rolled over us nearly knocking power out and blew over some of my flowers. There was reports of a tornado near Sudbury but nothing here.

I'm stuck waiting on some guy to come pick up a couch, all day it's been back and forth with emails then the weather turned nasty for him so now I'm waiting to see if he bothers to show up. I had posted it for free on kijiji and he was first to respond but if I knew I'd have to wait all day for him to come get a free couch I wouldn't waited. I've gotten at least a dozen other emails, next time I'm just going to drag it out to the road with a sign marked Free.

Congrats Wendylady36 on your engagement Have you guys been together long? I've been with mine for nearly 10 years and if he asked me I'd say no

Its probably the weather that's holding the guy back.
But even so, he should contact you and tell you that he'd pick it up some other day or give it to someone else who is interested. You should totally just give it away if he doesn't bother getting back to you tonight. It would be a lot easier just putting it to the curb and letting whoever wants it, take it. x)

He finally came for it, when they got here it was hot and sunny. If it rains on them before they get home, it's their problem
I had to spend 10 mins replying to everyone who emailed about it, there was about 20 emails, after a while my email thought they were all spam.

It's been so hot here lately! The humidity just won't quit.
Has anyone been getting any rain? It feels like we haven't gotten any at all here. All the grass is dying, so I was wondering who was getting it all.

Haha, our grass is quite yellow, brittle and dry so we haven't been getting any rain over here either. With the exception of yesterday, we haven't had any rain over here in two months. D: It does look like its going to pour now though so here's to hoping it will cool down and we can finally turn the AC off. I can't imagine what my parents bill is going to be like. *Shudders*

We have been together for 7+ yrs now so it isn't a big deal really....we already refer to each other as hubby/wife. But i wanted to make it formal so i purposed. I bought him a nice ring with my swagbuck earns and so far it hasn't bothered him to wear it! (he hasn't been a ring wearer and has a bit of webbing ) We have talked about marriage off and on over the yrs with the whole "it isn't broken why fix it" mentality but when we do decide on a day we have decided to go with a pajamma wedding and keep it calm and mellow and laid back.

I even got down on one knee to do it and had to get him to help me back up lol. I wish i had had a bit more energy to make it a tad bit more romantic but his cheesy grin was good enough for me!

Got most of my stuffs caught up on today and even slapped together some cookies. Waiting on the pizza dough to finish now so i can get dinner done. Gonna have pizza and cheese bread and a side salad if anyone else besides me is interested.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well.....hot and sweaty but well! Feels like i have been MIA for so long but it sure is good to be back moving/sitting on my own again!

You know what, the institution of marriage is far too commercialized now.
It really isn't about the couple or making the day special. Its pretty much just a competition to outdo one another's weddings which is such a shame and then you realize just how much in debt you are.

I rather have a low key wedding when the time comes as well and then spend the money that I would splurge on such a lavish wedding on going on a honeymoon for 2 weeks rather than one and putting a down payment on a house. Its ridiculous to see just how much money some people spend on a wedding just for that 'wow' factor and to outdo their competition. x(

We just got pelted with hail, thunderstorms and heavy rain!
I'm sure that there must have been a tornado touchdown close by.
It was quite windy as well but its slowed down now. The grass really needed it though. I think that we all needed it. x) The humidity and heat was getting to be unbearable. =p
