This story is about Toronto but maybe we should all participate.

You can join a movement to let political leaders know you are worried about global warming and willing to do your part.

Toronto is among a dozen other cities worldwide that will participate in Earth Hour by turning off lights and appliances for an hour on March 29, from 8 to 9 p.m., to symbolize the people's commitment to tackling global warming. Sponsors of the Toronto event include WWF-Canada, the City of Toronto and the Toronto Star.

I know most schools in my school board are doing something for this to.... I think we are dimmming our lights or maybe just useing the sunlight??? I will have to wait and see...

I plan on going out and making a fire to sit by so I can turn the lights out. Gets pretty dark by 8:30

We did something for this at school yesterday from 11-12 we turned off all th lights (except in the stairwells) and in the cooking rooms all the appliances.(Well exept the cafe.) It was kind freaky walking around in the dark bumbing into people you didn't know who they were. But it was great and i am guessing most of the student enjoied it cause they kept asking to extend it till 3

on march 28 - my family from niagara on the lake to banff and cities in between turned off the lights in celebration.
