Just a little bit of informal market research here...
My wife, who is a portrait photographer, is contemplating signing on to a new discount program here in Montreal. The program is called the "Mommie's Card", it costs users $45 to get one, and it offers year-round discounts on all sorts of services and retailers popular with young moms. My wife would have to pay to be an included retailer (and offer a discount to card holders).
I know there are similar discount programs / cards / booklets across the country. Do many people use them? Are they appreciated? Would you use an included service over a non-program service just because you save 10% (or some such thing).
Thanks all for your input & thoughts.
