Seems at my daughters school.

1 Couselling (discuss issue
2. Time out
3. Detention
4. In school suspension
5. Out of school suspension
It is expected that parents and teachers are in regular communication.

i have no idea...but my policy is touch my kids and deal with me !!!! momma bear!

The police in the school that my kids go to is the same but they do not do a good job at enforcing it. Last year my kid was being bullied all the time & the school said they were keeping a eye on the bully but he still was able to get to my son. It is very frustrating. I think if the bully is a repeat offender they should keep him from recess & have a counseller talk to him about the bullying until he realizes what he is doing is wrong.

i agree 100% a child should not be afraid to go to school! EVER!!!!

Most of our schools have cameras in them now.. .and are constantly monitored.

Zero tolerance. Teachers counsel bullies, poster are put up, activties are done geared towards bulling.

we have zero tolerance at my daughters school but `100` tolerence in the ontario government

We also have zero tolerance in our school as well. However, it is a new school this year, so not sure if it works or not. The kids' old school had zero tolerance....but they did not deal with it well. The most a repeat bully got was no recess. The school did not suspend or expel repeat offenders ever.
