"Your old phone could equal a free slice of pizza during the month of April at Pizza Pizza.
As part of an Earth Month initiative, the Cells for Slices program will redirect previously-used cell phones or hand held devices from landfills, and will be given to Food Banks Canada, as part of their Phones for Food Program. One Wireless device on average generates $2-5.
Consumers can drop off old wireless devices at more than 380 participating Pizza Pizza locations and receive a free cheese or pepperoni slice.
