THE FACEOFF.COM PLAYOFF PICK'EM POOL (THE "CONTEST") IS INTENDED TO BE CONDUCTED IN CANADA ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF CANADA ONLY. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF CANADA. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE OF THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR PROVINCE OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN WHOLE OR PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES (THE "CONTEST RULES").

1.THE GAME.

This Contest is a game of skill designed to test one's own prognostication skills when it comes to predicting the performance of various hockey teams in various series in the 2008 hockey playoffs. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of teams and players and related rules to accumulate the most Fantasy Points in accordance with the scoring system described below and the Contest Rules. This Contest is provided solely for entertainment purposes and cannot be used in conjunction with any form of gambling.

2.ELIGIBILITY. To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must:

a.be a legal resident of Canada;
b.be of the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence or older at the time of entry; and
c.be legally able to travel to Cuba.

This Contest is administered by Fantasy Sports Services Inc. ("FSS"). Employees of Canwest Media Inc., Canwest Publishing Inc., FSS, Faceoff.com, Toronto Star Newspapers Limited, Hola Sun Holidays, and Occidental Hotels and Resorts (collectively, the "Sponsors"), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and the household members and/or the immediate family of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. All decision of the Sponsors are final and binding. The Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsors for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

3.CONTEST PERIOD.

The Contest shall coincide with the 2008 hockey playoffs. The Contest begins at the same time as the first game of Round 2 of the hockey playoffs on or about April 24, 2008 and ends immediately after the completion of the final game of the 2008 hockey playoffs on or about Monday, June 9, 2008 (the "Contest Period").

4.HOW TO ENTER.

b. Limit of one (1) entry per person. In the case of multiple entries, only the first eligible entry will be considered.

5. HOW TO PLAY AND WINNER SELECTION.

General

Once you have obtained your username and password, use the daily online game form provided at the Contest Website (the "Daily Game Form") to select a prediction for the outcome of each of the daily games listed. In addition, set out your prediction for the tiebreaker game of the round designated on the Daily game Form (for tiebreaking purposes).
PLEASE NOTE: When submitting selections on an online Daily Game Form, wait for the confirmation page to appear and check your selections to verify they are correct. Only fully completed Daily Game Forms that are submitted and confirmed before the posted Daily Game Form Deadline (described below) will be accepted and count towards the Contest.

Playoff Round Prize Periods:

One (1) Playoff Round Prize (described below) will be awarded to the one (1) entrant in each of the two (2) Playoff Round Prize Periods (described below) with the highest number of Fantasy Points ("FPs") accumulated from all Daily Game Forms submitted during that given Playoff Round Prize Period.

Schedule of Playoff Round Prize Periods:

Playoff Round Prize Period 2: includes all games in all FOUR (4) series in the Conference semifinals;
Playoff Round Prize Period 3: includes all games in the TWO (2) series in the Conference finals AND all games in the ONE (1) final Championship Series.


Playoff Round Prize Period Tiebreakers:

If two or more entrants are tied for a Playoff Round Prize, the tie will be broken by using the following tiebreaking system in the order listed:

1. The entrant that correctly selected the winning team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for that given Playoff Round prize period;
2. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the winning team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for that given Playoff Round prize period;
3. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the losing team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for that given Playoff Round prize period;
4. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the winning team (without going over) in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for that given Playoff Round prize period;
5. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the losing team (without going over) in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for that given Playoff Round prize period;
6. the entrant whose original content registration was submitted on the earliest date (and time, if necessary) as recorded in the user database entry log.

Overall Prize Period:

There is one (1) Grand Prize (described below) available to be won by the one (1) entrant with the highest number of FPs accumulated from all Daily Game Forms submitted from all Playoff Round Prize Periods during the Contest Period. There is one (1) Secondary Prize (described below) available to be won by the one (1) entrant with the second highest number of FPs accumulated from all Daily Game Forms submitted from all Playoff Round Prize Periods during the Contest Period (the "Secondary Prize Winner").

Overall Prize Tiebreakers:

If two or more entrants are tied for an overall Prize, then the tie will be broken by using the following tiebreaking system in the order listed:

1. The entrant that correctly selected the winning team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for Playoff Round 3;
2. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the winning team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for Playoff Round 3;
3. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the losing team in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for Playoff Round 3;
4. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the winning team (without going over) in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for Playoff Round 3;
5. The entrant that was closest to the number of goals scored by the losing team (without going over) in the tiebreaker Game of the Round for Playoff Round 3;
6. The entrant whose original content registration was submitted on the earliest date (and time, if necessary) as recorded in the user database entry log.
