1. The Hanes "$25,000 Cash-for-Comfort" Contest (hereinafter: the "Contest") is held by Canadelle Limited Partnership (hereinafter: the "Contest organizer"). The Contest will run from no earlier than August 13, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. to September 8, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) or until prizes last, whichever occurs first (hereinafter: the "Contest period").
   
   ELIGIBILITY
2. This Contest is open to all residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their Province or Territory, except employees, representatives and agents of the Contest organizer, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, materials or services related to this Contest, as well as their immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters, children), legal or common-law spouse and anyone residing with these employees, representatives and agents.
   
   HOW THE CONTEST WORKS
3. No purchase necessary. To participate, visit the www.hanes.ca Website during the Contest period and click on the Contest banner in order to access the Contest entry page. If you have not entered the Contest already, click on "Sign up!" and fill out, one by one, all the required fields by providing your first name, last name, complete address, birthdate and your e-mail address and by choosing a password. You will then also have to type the word you see in the image appearing on the entry form for security purposes and to confirm that you have read and agree to the Contest rules. Click on "Submit" to send your entry form. You will then have to enter a 12-digit UPC code appearing on any Hanes current product and click on "Enter". (To obtain a UPC code, you may buy any Hanes current product or simply note a UPC code appearing on any Hanes current product when visiting any store selling Hanes products in Canada.) Follow the instructions and play the game. At the end of the game, a message will appear informing you if you have been selected to win an instant prize. If you have received a "selected to win" message, you will then be asked to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. If you have correctly answered the skill-testing question, a message will appear with a game ID number and confirmation number that you must keep to claim your prize. For each future entry, click on "Already entered? Log in to enter again!" and you will only have to submit your e-mail address and your password, and then click on "Submit" to access the UPC code page and play the game. If you are still logged in, simply click on "Enter again" to access the UPC code page and play the game again.
4. If one of the following mentions appears on the screen: "CONGRATULATIONS! You have been selected to win a portable DVD player!" or "CONGRATULATIONS! You have been selected to win $25,000 cash!" you have won the corresponding prize described in section 8 if you correctly answer the skill testing question and subject to compliance with the Rules and Regulations. Screen shots are not proof of winning. Final claim verification is subject to the validation of the random number generator's digitally encoded audit log. If the following mention appears on the screen: "Thanks for entering", your entry is not an instant prize winner.
5. If your entry is not a "selected to win" entry, you will have the opportunity to earn an extra chance to play and to win if you invite two friends to enter the Contest. Click on "Tell 2 friends" on the confirmation message and an electronic form will appear. Fill out this form by providing the names and email addresses of two friends and click on "Submit". If you have provided two names and two valid email addresses, you will obtain an extra chance to play again and to win. To take advantage of this extra chance, you must then click immediately on "Play now" to play again and get an extra chance to win. The additional UPC code will automatically be entered for you once you have clicked on the "Play now" button. If you have not taken the opportunity to invite two friends to enter the Contest after your first entry, it will be available the second time you enter or the third time you enter, if you have still not used it the second time. Once you have taken the opportunity to invite 2 friends and get an extra chance to win (hereinafter: the "Additional entry"), the form to that effect will not appear if you enter the Contest again, as the case may be.
6. The "selected to win" entries are generated randomly. How prizes are awarded: once entrants enter the game and initiate the game play, they are assigned a random number between 1 and 290,000 by a random number generator. The game engine then compares that assigned number to the Prize Determination Numbers (hereinafter: the "PDN") that are established prior to the Contest starting date. If the random number that is assigned to the entrant matches a pre-selected PDN, the entrant will receive a "selected to win" message upon completion of the game. If the random number that is assigned to the entrant matches a pre-selected PDN for a portable DVD player, the computer will let the entrant obtain a score of 8 during the game play. If the random number that is assigned to the entrant matches a pre-selected PDN for a grand prize of $25,000, the computer will let the entrant obtain a score of 12 during the game play. How the entrant plays the game does not affect the chances of winning.
7. There is a limit of three basic entries and one Additional entry per email address for the duration of the Contest period. At any time during the Contest period, entrants may not use more than one (1) single email address to enter the Contest, even if they have more than one email address. An entrant may only use a UPC code once.
