http://www.hereshow.ca/photocontest.asp Win a copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.0!
Here’s your opportunity to show off your digital photography skills. We want to include your best shots in the next issue of
Here’s How!, and on this Website; and we have some great prizes for the winners. All submissions must be digital in some respect. They can be images that were captured on a digital camera, or conventional photographs that have been manipulated on computer.
Two grand-prize winners will each receive a copy of Adobe
Photoshop CS3 image-editing software, in their choice of Windows or Mac version.
Photoshop CS3 is loaded with new features, including non-destructive editing, which lets users apply Smart Filters while keeping the original image intact. The Camera Raw plug-in, for converting RAW files to JPEGs or TIFFs, has new tools like Fill Light and Dust Busting. The new Quick Selection and Refine Edge tools make it much easier to isolate and edit a specific part of your image. Auto Align and Auto Blend let you easily make seamless composites of several images.
Two runners-up will each receive a copy of Adobe
Photoshop Lightroom 1.0, in their choice of Windows or Mac version.
Lightroom lets users work on large groups of photographs. The elegant interface makes it easy to browse and evaluate photos. You can apply corrections for exposure, white balance and other parameters to single images, or perform global adjustments on a large group of images.
