How To Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST) August 27, 2007. To enter the “RED CARPET CONTEST” (the “Contest”) and register and complete an online entry (“Entry” or “Entries”) at www.hmv.ca (the “Website”).

All Entries must include entrant’s (“Entrant”) full name, complete address (including city, province of residence, and postal code), daytime phone number with area code, age and e-mail address (if applicable). Limit of one (1) Entry per household during the Contest period. In the event it is discovered that any individual attempted to enter more than once per day, all of that individual’s Entries (past and future) will be disqualified from this Contest. Any use of automated devices is prohibited. Entries that contain typographical errors, are altered, tampered with, incomplete, inaccurate, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules, are also void. Proof of sending an entry is not deemed to be proof of receipt.

Eligibility: To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be a resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) who has reached the age of majority in the province in which he/she resides and who is not an employee or officer of any of the Sponsors, their affiliated companies or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse.

Prize: There is one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”) and five (5) secondary prizes (“Secondary Prizes” (collectively “the Prizes”)). The Grand Prize will consist of VIA Rail tickets for two (2) to Toronto, Ontario leaving from a train station closest to the winner's home and two (2) nights hotel accommodation on a double occupancy basis (4 star hotel or higher) for the nights of 8 and 9 September, 2007, two (2) tickets to a Toronto Film Festival Premiere Screening of “Eastern Promises” plus After Party on 8 September and a set of 3 piece Heys luggage. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is CDN $3,750 (but may vary depending on point of departure).

Each Secondary Prize will consist of one (1) HMV Gift Card worth CDN $100. Retail value of each Secondary Prize is CDN $100.

NOTE - the following conditions also apply to the Grand Prize:
Grand Prize winner and winner’s guest must travel on identical itineraries. Grand Prize winner is responsible for paying all taxes and applicable fees which must be paid at the time of booking, and any additional charges that might arise, including but not limited to, additional ground transportation (including to and from the departure and arrival train depots), PST, GST and all other such taxes, travel, repatriation and health insurance, personal expenses (and other items of a personal nature), gratuities, meals, entertainment, etc.
