Make a Suggestion for our community/Blog, and if we decide to implement it, you will get a free yves Product. ( our choice)

Ok - To tell us "more freebies" or more posts general " does not count, or work, as there is only so much available to post here, and as a community we should all be working at this.

Feel free to post as many things as you like.
We will let you all know what is possible and what is not.

How about creating a calendar that shows the upcoming events? Like free burger day at Harveys and Free Iced Coffee at Timmies-Those type of events. You could even add when smart source or shop and save coupons are due out. Reminders of freebies that open up only on a specific day. Like today we had the chatelaine/Ramdom House free book for the 1st 10,000. You could just check the calendar that day and see if there is any event going on. Just a thought that Liljj and I have been toying with. Even made up a sample to see how it would look.

Yeah, the calender is a good idea! You & Lil were working on one before..

Anyways, my only suggestion right now is a Paid Survey & Focus Group forum or subforum.. I'm getting into these now. I just posted a focus group but didn't know where to put it.. so i just put it in limited time freebies.

I think it would be cool to have a just for fun section for favorite comics, horoscopes and quizzes, odd news etc. maybe a weekly thing

Under 'Contests' section it allows you to choose daily, weekly monthly and instant, how about adding "once" option, too? I mostly apply for those but they get burried under Daily posts.

It already has that, you can set your display options to show the once contests first. Click the green contest icon and at the top, there is an option for prefix and you can pick once. it sometimes shows up when you hover over the green contest tab but it doesn't always work

It would be cool to have a seperate section with forums for each province to post events specific to that province.

a few things:

a) downloads of shareware
b) and freeware games
c) online freeware gaming (not downloading, but playing games live)
d) (free) gaming magazines - there are many of these types online
e) have sections that would show family, adult, violent, etc. for the above links, thus allowing parents & kids to find games based on the different ratings (i.e. E for Everyone, M for Mature, V for Violent, and so on).

I'm new to the site, so what about implementing some interactive social activities on here that would encourage members to make friends quicker/easier, especially ways to find ppl in our local area to share ideas with...if there isn't anything like this yet? I think this is an awesome site...thanks

Sorry about that, I guess I never noticed but when I looked better there is an option for Once Only contests, but it is hiding under an ad..thanks!

Look under your name on a post- The sunshine means that persn is On-Line
Clouds over the sunshine means they are off-line. Look right under your smartie inventory. Do you see it?

How about moving the banner ad at the top of the page. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but when I scroll over the Freebies tab and the little menu comes down, I can't see part of it. See below:

It could be just me. I'm on Firefox 3.5 and Windows XP. Just a thought...

I also have had trouble with the freebies drop down menu, it doesn't all show up and I can't click on anything below "pets" on the menu...so I have to just click on word freebies and then pick categories after that...

How about a referral section where can people can post what they want others to visit and use their referral? I know that people are supposed to put referrals in their sig but it doesn't always happen, then if people are interested in helping others, then they can without referral requests clogging up the freebie sections
