1. <LI class=rules_regs>NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The Maxell “Maximum Performance” ("Contest") starts at 0:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") February 11, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on March 14th, 2008. The sponsor of this Contest is Maxell Canada 50 Locke Street, Unit 2, Concord ONL4K 5R4 (the "Sponsor"). The Contest shall be subject to these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”) available at www.maxellcanada.com. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Rules.
   
   <LI class=rules_regs>ELIGIBILITY. CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF CANADA; WHO HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF 16 AS OF THE DATE OF THEIR ENTRY; except employees of Maxell, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization, and members of their respective immediate families living in the same household; subject to approval from the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux regarding the Province of Quebec.
   
   <LI class=rules_regs>ENTRY FORM. To enter, fill out the electronic entry form available online at www.maxellcanada.com (the “Website”). Limit of one entry per person per month and/or 10 entries per household. Sponsor, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively the "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; congestion, failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Contest; inability to access the Website or any pages thereof; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; data processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any website; printing; administrative or other errors of any kind or any combination thereof. Proof of entering information at the Website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. Incomplete and duplicate entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible. Any information collected by registering to enter the Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Rules and with the Maxell’s Online Privacy Policy.
   
   <LI class=rules_regs>PRIZES. There is one (1) Grand Prize to be won consisting of; one (1) Winter Jacket with Snowboard Jamboree logo, two (2) Snowboard Jamboree Hats, two (2) Snowboard Jamboree T-Shirts, two (2) Adidas Eyewear Sunglasses, one (1) Pro Disc Fixer, one (1) Noise Cancellation IV headphones, one (1) DVD 50pc spindle, one (1) P-NS ear buds, one (1) P-8 iPod speakers, one (1) CD-R Extreme Series 50pc Spindle, one (1) 4GB USB Pen Drive and one (1) Maxell Shoulder Bag. Total value of all prizes is $1,440. At time of draw, if any portion of this prize is not available for any reason Maxell reserves the right to substitute with an item of equal or greater value.
   
   <LI class=rules_regs>WINNER SELECTION/DRAW. On March 17th, 2008 a random draw will be conducted by independent judges in Hillsburgh, Ontario, at 1:00 p.m. from all eligible entries received between February 11th, 2008 to March 14th 2008. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid. In order for a potential winner who is a minor in his/her province of residence to be declared a winner, the minor’s parent or legal guardian must answer the skill-testing question, co-sign and notarize a standard eligibility form and a publicity release form. All decisions of the independent contest judging organization are final.
   
2. WINNER NOTIFICATION. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email the week following the draw. Winners will be required to complete, execute a standard Affidavit of Eligibility and a Winner’s Release form confirming compliance with these Rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. In order for a potential winner who is a minor in his/her province of residence to be declared a winner, the minor’s parent or legal guardian must co-sign and notarize a standard Affidavit of Eligibility and a Winner’s Release form. The Affidavit and Winner's Release form must be returned within 14 days of receipt. Failure to return all required documents in this time period will result in the winner being disqualified and an alternate winner selected
