Melitta Canada 100th Sweepstakes (the “Contest”)

This Contest is an online contest, which is brought to you by Melitta Canada,(“Sponsor”).

How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 25, 2008 until 11:59:59 p.m. ET on June 30, 2008 (the “Contest Entry Period”), visit www.MelittaMeTime.ca (follow the link to the Contest webpage) and complete the online entry form in accordance with the online instructions and transmit the entry form when complete to enter the Grand Prize draw. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on June 30, 2008 (the “Contest Closing Date”) and must include all required information or they will not be eligible. Proof of sending an entry is not proof of receipt by Sponsor. Limit: 1 entry per person per week regardless of the email address of an entry or the number of email addresses that individual may have. Use of mechanical assistance, form filing software or robotic assistance is prohibited. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.


Grand Prize: There are two (2) Grand Prizes available to be won, consisting of one trip for two to Germany plus $3,000.00 CDN. Prize includes one round trip air tickets for two (2) people, departing from Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver only arriving in Germany: Frankfurt, Hamburg or Munich, from Air Transat plus $3,000. All other costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize including any applicable taxes, land transfers, insurance, meals, gas, gratuities, fees, surcharges, activities and items of a personal nature will be the winner's sole responsibility. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.


The winner must be a Canadian resident of 18 years and older.
1 Travel must be completed by October 31, 2009, last return date.
2 The following black-out dates apply: Christmas and New Years’ period, Spring break period (February 15 to March 15) and Easter weekend, construction holidays in Quebec, local holidays at destination.
3 The air package is based on selected travel periods and are subject to availability at time of booking;
4 Booking must be made at least (30) days prior to departure.
5 In the eventuality that the winner resides in a city that requires transportation to Air Transat departure cities, the costs associated to the transportation are the winner’s entire responsibility. Terms and conditions of Transat Holidays’ current brochure are applicable.
6 The winner must respect the validity period of the prize and shall accept any alternatives presented by Air Transat if need be.
7 No extensions will be permitted and the prize cannot be exchanged, transferred or substituted for cash.
8 Travel documents are the responsibility of the winner and must be obtained prior to departure. Air Transat strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. Taxes including destination and airport taxes as well as fuel surcharge are not included in the prize and are the responsibility of the prize winner. They must be paid at time of booking.
The winner and accompanying traveler must have the same departure and return dates on the flight tickets.
9 Air Transat reserves the right to offer a comparable product in the event of a program cancellation, Act of God or other unforeseen circumstances.
10 All personal expenses are the responsibility of the travelers.
11 All travel documentation that may be required (visa, passports, etc.) are the winner’s responsibility and must be obtained prior to departure.
12 Air Transat, Melitta and there promotional marketing agency shall not assume responsibility for any refunds, losses, damage, costs or expenses arising out of the following: mechanical breakdown, government action, weather, strike or any other action beyond Air Transat’s control; denial of access to the carrier due to contravention of the conditions of carriage or improper travel documentation; failure to clear customs or missed flights or connections.


ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence on or before January 25, 2008, and who are not an employee, representative or agent of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent or related companies, advertising or promotional agencies, a member or employee of the independent judging organization, or a member of the immediate family (i.e. parent, sibling, child or spouse) or household of any of the above persons.
The entrant is the individual whose name appears on the entry form. Only one (1) entrant’s name may appear on the entry form. In the event of a dispute, if the name of the entrant on the entry form is not the same as the authorized account holder of the email address at the time of entry, the entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e–mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e–mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
GRAND PRIZE DRAW: One random drawing will be made by an independent judging body on July 3, 2008, in Toronto, Ontario at approximately 10:00 a.m. ET (the “Contest Draw Date”) from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date.

If a selected entrant cannot be reached within ten (10) business days following the Contest Draw Date, incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question administered, declines the prize, fails to return a Declaration of Compliance with the Official Rules and a Release of Liability Form as specified below, or otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she will be disqualified, will not win any prize and the selection process will be repeated until a winner is declared.
