The Microsoft Live Search “Big Ticket” Promotion
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
(Excluding the Province of Québec)

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: The Microsoft Live Search “Big Ticket” Promotion (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Microsoft Canada Co. (the “Sponsor”). The Contest Period begins at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) on October 31, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on December 31, 2008 (the “Contest Closing Date”).

2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be a resident of Canada (excluding the Province of Québec) who has reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which he/she resides and who is not an employee of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, its respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom any such employee is domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse. PLEASE NOTE: You must have a valid email address to participate. Email accounts can be obtained free of charge from many internet service providers. Email addresses received on-line shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

4. HOW TO PLAY THE GAME: The “Big Ticket” contest is an online card game where you will have the opportunity to reveal the two (2) cards randomly dealt and shown on your screen by submitting a Live Search into the “Live Search “ entry box located on the screen.

If the cards match, you will be eligible for an Instant Win Prize and you will receive an Instant Win notification on your screen with a “Congratulations, you are an eligible winner of” a selected Instant Win Prize as described in rule 5 and will be directed to the entry form page.

OR

• If the cards do not match, a message will appear on your screen saying “Thank you for playing. Please try again”.

If you are an eligible Instant Winner, complete the online entry form by accepting that you agree to the rules and regulations and agree to the release of liability, enter your full name, date of birth, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), a valid email address and answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise the mathematical skill testing question. To become a confirmed Instant Winner, you must correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question. If you do not correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question, your entry will be disqualified.

You may enter as often as you wish, but there is a limit of one (1) prize per person during the Contest Period. Odds of winning an Instant Win Prize will depend on the time you select to play and on the number of people playing at that time.
