PRIZES: There will be a total of three (3) prizes available to be won as follows:
(a) First Prize (herein referred to as "First Early Bird Prize"): The First Early Bird Prize available to be won consists of one (1) gift certificate to a spa of the winner’s choice in Canada valued at $500.00 (CDN).
(b) Second Prize (herein referred to as "Second Early Bird Prize"): The Second Early Bird Prize available to be won consists of one (1) 42" flat screen TV. Approximate retail value of the Second Early Bird Prize is $1.399.00 (CDN).
(c) Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize available to be won consisting of: (i) return economy airfare for four (4) people from the Canadian airport to which Westjet flies that is nearest to the winner’s place of residence to anywhere else in Canada to which WestJet flies (the "Destination"); (ii) six (6) nights’ hotel accommodation (standard room, double occupancy) at the Days Inn location that is located at or nearest to the Destination; and (iii) one (1) National Car 7-day full size car rental. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize package is $6,800.00 (CDN) based on a Toronto to Vancouver return trip. Actual value of Grand Prize will depend on departure city and Destination. Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between actual prize value and stated approximate prize value, if any. WestJet flights must be booked at least fourteen (14) days in advance of travel, are based on availability and subject to blackout dates and additional restrictions, at WestJet’s discretion. This prize is not valid for redemption on WestJet Vacations’ packages, or WestJet’s charter partners. Additional WestJet terms and conditions may apply. Flights are non-transferable and have no cash value. New bookings only. All taxes, government and airport surcharges and fees applicable to flights are payable by the Grand Prize winner at the time of booking. If driver of the National 7-day full size car rental is underage (21-24 years) additional fees will be applied of $25.00 per day and are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. Upgrades or additional charges such as baby-seats or additional driver, additional coverage, fuel charges, applicable taxes or surcharges or other governmentally authorized or imposed surcharges, license recoupment fees/ air tax recovery and concession recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, one-way rental charge and optional items (such as Loss Damage Waiver) are at the expense of the Grand Prize package winner. In addition, the Grand Prize package does not include: transportation to and from winner’s and guests’ residences to originating airport, travel and medical insurance, travel documentation, airport improvement fees, taxes, meals, drinks, tips, gratuities, service fees, telephone calls, in-room charges, additional hotel services, insurance and any other expense not explicitly included in this description of the Grand Prize. Additional Days Inn terms and conditions may apply. Travel must be completed by winner and his/her guests on or before December 31st, 2009. The Grand Prize winner and guests must travel on the same route and at the same time. All components of the Grand Prize (i.e., air travel, hotel and car rental) must be taken as part of one trip and cannot be taken or used separately. Should Grand Prize winner and/or guests be unable to complete travel on or before December 31st, 2009, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
(d) Restrictions: Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, assignable, are not for resale, may not be substituted for other prizes and have no cash surrender value. In the event that the Sponsors are unable to award a prize as described for any reason, the Sponsors reserve the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value, without liability. Winners and, in the case of the Grand Prize winner, their guests, must comply with these Sweepstakes Rules and sign and return the Release Form (described below).
