Contest Rules and Regulations:
The Comedy Fest Contest is free to enter and open to everyone, except employees of The Chronicle Herald, promoters and their agencies and persons with whom they cohabit. Identification must be provided upon winning the prize.
No purchase necessary. Skill testing question is required. A random draw will be conducted of all eligible entries received by the contest deadline of noon, April 18, 2008. The first five entries drawn will each win a pair of tickets to the Ha!ifax Comedy Fest Opening Gala - Schooner Showroom, Casino Nova Scotia 8:00 p.m. on April 22, 2008.
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received by the contest deadline.
The Chronicle Herald, promoters and their agencies will not be held liable for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expenses arising out of participation in this contest.
Identification must be provided upon winning the prize. Entrants must consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph and/or image on videotape for publicity purposes in all media carried out by The Chronicle Herald and the promoters, without payment or compensation.
To be eligible, all entries must be received on or before the contest deadline. All entries become the property of The Chronicle Herald.
Some prize restrictions may apply.
Prizes must be claimed within one week of notification or contest winner(s) will forfeit their prize(s).
The prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.
The decision of the Promotions Manager is final on all matters of fact, interpretations, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment.
