Official Contest Rules

1. <LI class=header>CONTEST PERIOD
   The PetIdol.ca Contest (the "Contest") is run by Z Retail Marketing Inc., and will take place in Canada, from 9:00:01 AM (ET) May 18, 2007 to 11:59:59 PM (ET) July 19, 2007 (the "Contest Period"). <LI class=header>CONTEST GROUP ENTITIES
   For the purposes of the Contest, the Contest Group Entities are PetIdol.ca & Z Retail Marketing Inc., together with its affiliates (including without limitation its parent, sister and subsidiary companies), retailers, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of materials and services related to the Contest, PetIdol.ca website, and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity directly involved in the Contest (collectively, the "Contest Group Entities"). <LI class=header>ELIGIBILITY
   The Contest is open to all individuals who are residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence as at the date of entering the Contest. Photos must be of the pet and cannot portray any situation or activity that may be deemed illegal, offensive, dangerous or inappropriate. Z Retail Marketing Inc. Reserves the right to approve or reject photos. All decisions of the contest panel of judges are final. <LI class=header>METHODS OF ENTRY
   Register your entry online, at www.petidol.ca, by completing the online registration form in full, and uploading a digital photograph of your pet into the category of your choice. You may enter each of the 9 categories to a maximum of once. Photos should be in a standard file format such as jpeg. Multiple entries within one category will be disqualified. Only one e-mail address may be used by any person to participate in the Contest. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized holder of the e-mail address at the time of entry. For these purposes, the "authorized holder" is the natural person who is assigned to the submitted e-mail address by an Internet access or online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. <LI class=header>GRAND & CATEGORY PRIZING
   1. There is one (1) Grand Prize, & nine (9) category prizes.
   2. Each category entry winner will be based on the entry within the category that holds the most votes. There is a potential to win more than one category. There will be nine (9) prizes in total (one per category) consisting of a pet prize package. Approximate retail value $250.00. In the event that the prize is not available at the time of qualification, a substitute prize of equal or lesser value will be awarded. This stage of voting will close on Tuesday, June 26th, 2007 at (11:59:59 PM (ET)
   3. The second stage/grand prize winner stage will commence on Tuesday July 3rd, 2007 at 10:00:00 AM (ET). Voting will close as of 11:59:59 PM (ET) on July 19th, 2007 whereby the grand prize winner will be decided based on votes at Z Retail Marketing Inc.'s Head Office in Etobicoke, ON. The one (1) winner will come from the entry with the most votes from the second stage of voting. The grand prize winner, upon qualification will receive a $1000.00 cash prize awarded in the form of a cheque. Approximate retail value $1000.00.
   <LI class=header>AWARDING OF GRAND PRIZE
   1. To be declared a winner of any Prize (a "Winner"), the selected entrant must, in addition to meeting the Contest eligibility criteria and otherwise complying with the official Contest rules, first:
      1. Be reached by telephone by the Sponsor or its representatives within the ten (10) days immediately following the selection of the entry;
      2. Complete a required declaration and release form (see below);
      3. Answer a mathematical skill testing question.
   2. Disqualification: If any one of the conditions mentioned in Rule 6.1 above is not met, the selected entrant will be disqualified and shall not be entitled to receive Prizes, and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select another eligible entrant as a potential Prize winner.
   3. Prize Delivery: Following receipt of the selected entrant's signed declaration and release form, the Sponsor or its representatives will send to the Winner[s] a letter confirming the arrangements for delivery of the Prizes.
2. SURVEY CONTEST
   1. Entrants that fill out the survey will be automatically entered to win a $250 prize package.
   2. This prize is a random draw and will be awarded separate from other prizing in this contest.
   3. The survey portion of the main contest will close on June 26th, 2007 11:59:59 PM (ET)
   4. The odds of winning depend on the number of surveys received by www.petidol.ca. Winner will be drawn and prize will be awarded on July 3rd, 2007. Winner will be contacted by phone.
