Eligibility:
No Purchase Necessary. Must be thirteen (13) years of age or older to enter. The promotional period for this Contest (the “Contest”) starts at 6:00 PM E.S.T May 2, 2008 and continues until 11:59 PM E.S.T on June 2, 2008 (the “Contest Closing Date”).
This Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of thirteen (13) years, excluding employees (and those persons with whom such employees are domiciled) of the Contest Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and the independent judging organization. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
How to Enter:
During the promotional period set out above, go online to the http://www.PlayStation.ca/promotions_events site, answer the ten trivia questions, then complete the online entry form by entering all required information (your first and last name, email address, phone number province, postal code, and Date of Birth). No purchase necessary. LIMIT five entries per eligible person per day throughout the promotional period. All entries received from any person found to be entering using multiple names or email addresses will be disqualified.
The Draw:
A random draw will be conducted on Tuesday June 3, 2008, at approximately 11:00 AM E.S.T in Toronto, Ontario, by a representative of the Contest Sponsor, to select five (5) qualified entries from all entries received the during the promotional period. Qualified entries are those who have correctly answered at least seven out of ten trivia questions correctly. The odds of winning a prize will be dependent on the number of entries received throughout the promotional period.
All selected entrants will be contacted by phone or by email at the email address indicated on their entry within five (5) business days of the draw. Before being declared a winner, all selected entrants will be required to correctly answer, unaided, at a mutually convenient time, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question and they (or, if selected entrant is under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, their parent or legal guardian) must also sign and return the Contest Sponsor’s Declaration and Release of liability and publicity within a specified period of time, before being named a winner, failing which the prize will be forfeited.
If a selected entrant cannot be reached within ten (10) business days of the first email sent or if the entrant declines the prize or does not otherwise comply with these contest rules, another random draw or draws will be conducted to select a replacement entrant in the same manner.
If the identity of an online entrant is disputed, the person whose name appears on the online entry form will be deemed to be the entrant, regardless of who may be the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry.
