General

1. The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, the Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council, Technical Standards & Safety Authority, and the Electrical Safety Authority (the "Contest Sponsors") Safety Matters Calendar Contest (the "Contest") will begin on September 4, 2007 at 12:00:01 pm EST and will end on December 17, 2008, at 11:59:59 pm EST (the "Contest Period").
2. Before entering the Contest, each entrant must review and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and Regulations as set out below. By entering the Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and accept the decisions of the Contest Sponsors as final and binding in all respects.
Eligibility

3. The Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, agents, shareholders, officers and directors and the advertising or promotional agencies of the Contest Sponsors, and those with whom the above are domiciled, are not eligible to enter. This Contest is void outside the jurisdictions listed above and where prohibited by law.
To be eligible, entrants and travel companions must be able to travel legally to, from and within the province of Ontario, Canada and Continental United States. (i.e. have proper photo ID, passport, travel documents etc.)
4. By entering the Contest, each entrant consents, to the extent permitted by law, to the use of his or her name, image, voice, likeness, city of residence and/or photographs without compensation in any publicity or advertising carried out in any medium worldwide by the Contest Sponsors and/or its advertising or promotional agencies without limitation or further notification or compensation.
How to Enter

5. No purchase necessary. To be eligible for our monthly random draws, you must first fill out the on-line entry form. Once the form is filled out and submitted, a verification e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address indicated on your on-line entry form. Once you have verified the entry by clicking the link provided in the verification e-mail, your entry will be activated and entered into the contest. In order for your entry to be eligible for the current monthly draw, all entries must be activated no later than the last Wednesday of that current month, with the exception of December when entries must be activated no later than the 2nd last Wednesday of December. Only one entry per person is allowed during the entire contest period. Only one prize package will be awarded per entry. In the event it is discovered that you entered or attempted to enter more than one entry, all entries will be void.
6. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for entries that are incomplete, illegible, inaudible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Contest Rules and Regulations and all such entries shall be disqualified. All entries become the sole property of the Contest Sponsors and none will be returned.
