Back for another day of chatting with some wonderful people. So, what is on the agenda for today?

My oldest dd has a dr's appointment later this morning, then it's off to mommy and me playgroup with my youngest.

Have a few errands to run as well.

Good morning! I'm at school for the day, waiting around for my next class to start right now. I have two essays I need to pass in this week, so hopefully I'll get a lot of work done on those today during my breaks from class. Hope everyone is having a good morning

So far the angenda for today is to watch the Shaytards vlog i missed last night ( had wii bowling tounaments and some other games with the fam ) after lunch going to nursing home to see my nana with my mom and dad and sister and my niece then not sure what else we are doing for Family day. Oh and I'm excited to check the mail later when it arrives

yeah, it's not as great as the other provinces think... More then half of people still have to work, and we don't even get overtime pay for working. Canada post and the garbage trucks even came today.

It is great to have a day off, don't get me wrong but wouldn't it be better to give poor retail people like me boxing day off instead. I would appreciate it sooo much more than a day in February.

LOL..am back,,don't want to do housework,,takin my first break,,just gotta do dishes, vacuum then wash floors now,,did the pick up and straighten up, got dishes soaking and started laundry already

Good for you Cindylee. I on the other hand have got nothing done today. Went over to the nursing home and visited with my mother-in-law for a while. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. I don't even think she knows who I am anymore. It has been so hard on my father-in-law. He spends most days at the home visiting her. Well should go wash a floor or something. What did everyone else do today?

Well got my house cleaned... Gosh yeh Cheetah,, I kinda know what you mean, the last 5 months of my Moms life as her condition worsen she had dementia,, some days she didn't know who I was either, I would sometimes sit with her close to an hr before I would see the expression on her face change and she would say its about time you got here and proceed to tell me that some other strange woman had been visiting. That's hard,,

I was with Cheetah today (and my dad) visiting my Nana at the home did a good lap around her floor at the home other than that I cleaned the linen closet and spare room closet and played some wii with the family

Well finally got off my butt and got the bathroom cleaned. All spic and span now (I hate washing floors) Hopefully tomorrow hubby can get ahold of a repair main and I can get my dryer fixed. Wet laundry hanging all over the downstairs. I hate having "crunchy" towels.

Yes Cindylee, it is very hard seeing my mother-in law this way lately. She is 90 years old and was always very active. She has her good days and her bad ones. Her eyesight is failing terribly and she forgets what everyday objects are for. Today she asked for a kleenex and then asked why her husband handed her a kleenex? She remembers lots of stories from when her kids were young and when she was young, but can't remember 2 minutes ago

Yes, Cheetah, my moms dementia was like that. She could remember lots from long time ago but forget things seconds or minutes later,,

Thats awful Zangel! I hope your at a better job now that pays well. I had a great weekend because it was my birthday on saturday Feb 18th. We went shopping in the states and came back and stayed in Niagara Falls for the weekend. We had such a blast, it was great! I got so spoiled Plus im on vacation this week so i get to relax and reorganize some rooms in my house. Hope everyone else had a great long weekend!!

Ok no telling.. Am @ work on my iPhone. Had a busy morning helping my hubby get his stuff ready to go on a fishing trip to Kootney Lake til Sunday.
Am at work til 11 pm tonight then get to enjoy my quiet clean house for 4 days all by myself,, I only have to work on Friday
