BIG HARRY DEAL: GLORY AND RICHES To those who enter our contest seeking an ending to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, we are pleased to announce these magical rewards.

Firstly, glory: Your story may be published in The Chronicle Herald's own special wizarding newspaper, along with other selected entries, a week before the release of Book 7.
Secondly, riches. From our vault at Gringotts, we are offering the following prizes: a Nintendo Wii, to be awarded by a draw from all contest entries; and to each winner of our three age categories (11 and under, 12 to 15, and 16 to 25) we will give one set of the Harry Potter books, courtesy of Raincoast Books (Vol. 1-6 are already in hand but Book 7 will be late), and a pair of IMAX movie passes to the Order of the Phoenix . Also, we will give three non-Harry Potter books to each honourable mention -- one for each age category -- and a pair of IMAX movie passes to the Order of the Phoenix.
Lastly, the rules: you are required to write an ending to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows of between seven and 77 words, and your entry must be submitted by the deadline of July 1. Please note that we seek works of imagination, true to the spirit of the books, not necessarily an accurate prediction of J.K. Rowling's own ending.
