OFFICIAL RULESThe "Everything from A to Z Student Survival Kit 2007" Contest is sponsored by Hudson's Bay Company ("Sponsor"). The contest begins on www.zellers.com at 12:01:00 AM (ET) on August 13, 2007 and ends at 11:50:00 PM (ET) on September 16, 2007.
THE PRIZE

• Entrants are eligible to win one (1) of fifty (50) Grand Prizes, each consisting of:

The approximate total retail value of each Grand Prize is $860.

Grand Prizes must be accepted as awarded, have no cash value and may not be transferred or exchanged. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Grand Prize or any portion thereof with a prize or portion thereof of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised Grand Prizes. HOW TO ENTERNo purchase is required. To enter visit www.zellers.com. Complete the online entry form, confirm compliance with the contest rules by checking the appropriate box and submit your entry. In the event of a dispute regarding an online entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (i.e. the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail address).

Your entry must be received by no later than 11:50:00 PM (ET) on September 16, 2007.

Maximum one entry per person per day. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITYTo be eligible, you must be a resident of Canada over the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and not an employee of the Sponsor, its licensees, affiliated companies (including Zellers Inc.) or agents, its respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or a person with whom any such person is domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Contest Rules, "immediate family" includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse.

THE DRAWOn September 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM (ET) in Toronto, Ontario fifty (50) entries will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received. Each selected entrant will be contacted by phone or mail, and in order to be declared a winner must first correctly answer at a mutually convenient time, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The prizes will be awarded to the first fifty (50) people whose entries are drawn, have correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question, and otherwise comply with the Contest Rules.

Each selected entrant will be contacted by phone, and must sign and return (within 14 days of receipt) a declaration and release confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Grand Prize as awarded and releasing the Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Grand Prize or this Contest. If a selected entrant declines the Grand Prize, does not comply with the Contest Rules, cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw or if a package sent via mail is returned as undeliverable, that entry will be declared void and a further entry will be randomly drawn. If a selected entrant cannot use or chooses not to use the prize, the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no substitution or other compensation will be awarded. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact selected entrants. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The Grand Prizes will be awarded within thirty (30) days of a selected entrant being contacted and declared a winner.
