AC Nielsen home scanner

Is anyone here a AC Nielsen member. I signed up on their site. Received a 5 dollar cheque. Then they said they were gonna ship me a home scanner to scan my groceries. I would download the info into my computer and could win prizes. Anyone know about this. I have not received the scanner so dont know how legit it is.

I tried this about 2 years ago. what a pain it was to have to scan everything that came into the house. the kids got a hold of it and it was in peices all over the house. i didnt get anything for my troubles

I've been scanning all my purchases and uploading the data to them every week since last May... I now have 11,000 points...

There are rewards, (kind of like the HBC rewards catalogue where it takes you forever to achieve anything), but I'm not annoyed with it yet, and I like answering the surveys they also send in the mail and in email for extra points.

It was hard getting used to having to scan everything when we first got the scanner, but I think what we've found the trick is, is to do it RIGHT AWAY, as you're UNPACKING the bags... and your reciepts always come in handy cause for some stores you'll find you have to enter prices for each item as well.
