Crock Pot/Slow Cooker Recipes!

Always looking for new recipes and suggestions for slow cooking!

What is your favourite meal to cook in the crock pot? Any recipe that you suggest all the time to friends?

One of my faves is picking up a small chicken and stuffing it with jalepino peppers and letting it slow cook (as per recipe book)

Whew, creates an awesome HOT HOT HOT chicken! Leftovers I use for stir fry or as a spicy addition to (crock pot!) soups which warm you up quickly in the winter!

(Beware with the amount of peppers you use, the more you use the hotter it is - the first time I made this i couldn't eat it!)

Meat Loaf!

2 lbs lean ground beef
2 eggs
2/3 cup (quick cook) oats
1 pk od onion soup mix
half a cup of ketchup

Mix the ground beef, eggs, oats, soup mix and ketchup. Shape into a loaf and put in your crock. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours (makes 8 servings, great for lunches and reheating!)

For a little spice add some dried chili peppers ( I use 1 table spoon, but add to your liking!) and it is fantastic!
