LOL I make most of my own baby food to and its very simple...I usually make it right after dinner and use veggies and stuff that we eat..at easter I kept turkey for him and whipped it up with mashed potatoes and carrots and a touch of gravy...yummy in his tummy....I usually only use store bought fruit for him and the containers that they come in are great for freezing his homemade meals in.

Well I don't have any more babies anymore.

But I used to do that as well. I would buy fruit on sale, and boil it up like pears, and apples etc. Then I would put it in a blender. Put in baby food jars ( I kept the ones I did buy for the road) and then freeze them. I just did big batches.

You can buy those little hand held blenders. I used to use that on a daily basis with supper stuff, or a banana.

Its way cheaper to make as much stuff as you can, and much healthier as well.

Here's a Picture of a hand held blender. This was the cat's meow for me.

They are about $20.00 Cdn I believe and can be bought anywhere that sells small kitchen appliances.
It was better than using a big blender, size and easy to wash.
