sticker/magnet Sponge Toffee - Mmmmmmmmmmmm

Ok, this is REALLY EASY !!

You will need:

-Heavy Bottomed pot
-Candy Thermometer
-Slotted high temp spoon
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup corn syrup
-3 level tbsps baking soda in small bowl
-8.5 X 13 pre-buttered pan

How To.......

Turn your stove on med high and add the corn syrup and sugar. When melted together, clip on your candy thermometer, making sure it doesn't touch the bottom of the pot - you want the candy temp, not the pot.
Keep stirring the mix until the temp reaches 305 - 308F (15-20 mins) and then quickly add the baking soda. do not go above 308f !!
Keep stirring as you slowly pour the mix into you buttered pan.

Let cool and enjoy !!

This formula works well in colder temps as the summer heat will not let it set as well.

Please copy this and send to all your friends
