I have never won anything on Kiwibox.com, but that is for a pretty unique reason. In that, I RUN Kiwibox.com. I can state, as fact, that we send out many prizes every week. So far the week of 8/10th-14th we have sent out CDs, Stickers, an iPod Nano, Hacky Sacks, a couple Books, and a couple Nintendo DS games. Hope that answers your question, and hopefully some Kiwibox users will see your question and chime in as well.

Ever since they changed the kiwibox page, everything has been a bit confusing. What I do is go to the search key on the upper left side of the page that reads something like kiwibox search. Type in chat, or something along the lines. It will give you search results. Just skim down the page and click on the link directed to kiwibox. To take a poll, all you have to do it mark your answer and click vote.
And I don't know if the shipping is free or not. I've been wondering that myself lately
