Ok now hopefully I'm posting correctly and I'm trying to be as helpful as I can to everyone.
I work at Wal-Mart and I feel that everyone should know about price comparison. Every week you can take the flyers that you get in your mail (ie Price Chopper, Food Basics, Superstore, Sobeys etc) and circle all the awesome deals. My favourite flyer is Food Basics and No Frills since they have deals on chicken breast and cheese almost every week.
So for example at Wal-Mart the cheese may be 7.77 but you can bring your flyer and tell the cashier you want to price/ad match the cheese and show them the flyer. The cashier *should* make the cheese two cents cheaper than the price in the flyer (ie. 3.97)
It can be ANY item (carseats, dvd's, health and beauty products) as long as it is IDENTICAL(brand name, size, matches description) and the cashier will change the price.
I can give you many examples and helpful hints but for now start small. It pays to shop at Wal-Mart because then you wont be running around to all the different stores for sales.
One important note! Wal-Mart doesn't ad match flyer if they say 45% off (it must have the SALE PRICE of the item) Also some Wal-Marts may not do 2/$5 because it doesnt show the exact price. The store i work at does...but it depends on the store management. OH and Wal-Mart doesnt ad match buy one, get one free.
So i think that's about it...i will try and see if I can add updates and respond to your comments but I'm busy with a newborn and 2 other young children so please forgive the delay.
