I bought some toffee at the store and it had a website address on it so I went there looked around a bit for a free sample but there was nothing. I went to the contact us page and told them (fibbed a bit) that I wanted to try their product because I wasnt sure if I could chew it and I didnt want to pay for a pack if I couldnt eat it. Anyways I got an email this morning from them -

Dear Erin,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I have sent you a complimentary bag of our Olde English Royal Toffees for
you to try - hoping you enjoy them.

If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

So thats cool... maybe I'll go around to different food retailers asking for samples now.. lol.

I told them that I had dental work done and I was told to avoid food that might damage the work but I wanted to try their product

great idea, we might jsut want to be careful how many people write in with the same issue all from canada all within days of each other. they might catch on that its posted on a freebie site and might stop sending out samples
or people can just change the reason they want a sample

I got an email from them thanking me for my interest and that they are sending me a free complementary toffee sample

and a list of their distributors

they hope I will purchase their product in the future but I've never even heard of them :o free candy!!!
