When Getting started in Freebie Hunting, It’s very wise to get a New Email address. As you don’t need your business or personal email address getting over flooded in emails every day.

As Each Time you fill out a Free Sample form, You will be required to give your email address.

There’s lots of different email accounts you can get for free , but here’s a few that I’ve used over the years. Hotmail.com, Hotmail.ca, Gmail.com and Yahoo.ca 

Since So many Companies are now wanting to have access to your social media ~ Next: Get a New Facebook Account, and If you don’t have  one Get a Twitter Account  ( Free)

Never Give out your phone number ~ Especially Your Cell Phone Number ~ You may receive phonecalls. So please do this with caution. Some forms require something in this field. So before giving out your true number ~ Really make sure you would like more information on the product. 

If you know the brand, and feel comfortable giving all your information Then Please do so. But once your into freebie hunting, you will find a lot of sites, and brands, you’ve never heard of, and this is when you should be carefull

Avoid Spam and Wasting your time : There are tons of sites out there that are created only to collect your information, Here are a few tips on how to avoid and recognize these sites.

The Home page ~ A true free sample will not have the request form on their home page.

Advertising  Are there tons of  ads visable – If your seeing a “lot” of google adsense and lots of mysterious banner ads, Chances are this is a spam site

Contact Page ~ Find a Contact us page ~ Make sure it’s working. Most “fake freebie sites” the contact us button will not work at all.

Check the Whois  ~ Many spammer sites that are created for collecting information are “brand new” websites.  You’ll find they were only created a few days ago, Or perhaps you’ll see the domain is individually owned, and not ran by an actual company.

We don’t Advertise on the Blog for Freebies that are based out of the USA or the UK, but you will find them on our Message Board, If you want to enter more freebies.

Free Samples that are from the USA or UK: Some people swear that they have previously received them, and others think they don’t show up.

 How Do you attempt to get a USA Only Sample? 

Fudging is a way to fill out forms that are based for US residents. Please note that this wont work for all US Freebies but there are a few that may  come even though it looks for US only.

• You can add your Province and Postal code and Counrty in the address line
• In the Zip code you can enter “00000″ or “99999″
• For State ~ Pick a state close to you or that is close to your province.
• For The Uk Freebies ~ Just fill it out normal – as they also have Postal Codes.

Be Patient ~ Sit Back and Wait. It can take months to get a free sample. Imagine trying to get to the mail 10,000 or 30,000 requests of free samples. It takes time. So don’t start to panick.

Some times You will have missed it. ~ Sometimes companies do run a “True Promotion”  and forget to take down the form, or choose to leave it up  to collect your personal Information ~ Or I’ve also seen companies leave the form up and only do patches of free samples per month.
