V-E-G-E-T-A-B-L-E-S!!!! BOO!!
Just speak this horrendeous word to most kids and they run like they are trying to escape the Boogeyman.
If you are like me and getting through an airport with a weapon is easier than sneaking those veggies past your kid, there are some cute ideas that can help.
For instance these plates made to look like popular Sesame Street characters. What child doesn’t want to dig into one of these; Courtesy of Live The Smart Way.

Make a pot of soup and add some of those alphabet or number shaped noodles. Let your kids actually play with their food for a change.

Some kids HATE the consistancy of cooked vegetables but will gobble up raw veggies with some of their favourite dip. I like to use vanilla yogurt with fruit as well.
You can also be a little sneaky and “hide” some of those vitamin rich veggies in your kids’ meals. What they don’t “see” can greatly improve your chances of getting them to consume the recommended daily intake and cut back on their calories as well. Smoothies are a great way to do this. Puree or finely chop those veggies and hide them in spaghetti sauce, etc. This should be done to ensure they are getting their veggies but not the “only” option. Keep offering them fresh fruits and vegetables as well.
Another way to get your kids to eat is to BE CREATIVE;
Hopefully, when your child hears the word V-E-G-E-T-A-B-L-E-S from now on they won’t run screaming from the room. :)
