Glymm Canada ~ April Box Review

I was thrilled to get my April Box this past week.  For me some of it was a bit disappointing, but again over all I’m glad I have my subscription to the box.

This Month I Received.

• Vile of Perfume
• Goatmilk soap
• Shampoo/conditioner sample
• colored lip gloss

The Perfume sample was Orange Sanguine fragrance from Atelier cologne  ( Full size is Retail $60 for 30ml)  It smells very “orange”  and you really smell the Citrus in this particular product.  For me this was just “OK” Not something I fell in love with. It also didn’t last past a few hours. Which may be ok for some people.  I love fruity smells, but this one just didn’t do it for me.

The Lip gloss is Mai Couture Social gloss.

The description says “Not only will this gloss fill in unwanted lines and restore moisture, but it will create full kiss-able lips, Your lips will be healthy and plump. This seer formula will create a sumptuous and luminous sheen.

although I didn’t love the feel of it, I really did like the shine it gave, and I also liked the color on my lips for an every day look. Retail price is $28 for 5ml.  Again I’m a Smashbox lip gloss fan for $22 , So I don’t think I’ll be buying this. This sample was full size that I received in my box. So right now the box has already paid for its self.

I got this little bar of soap . Description ” These refined jewels are packaged with pure botanical extracts and enriched with 100% certified organic shea butter.  I can honestly say I didn’t try it.  I’m not a user of any hand soap in the bar form. I enjoy liquid soap. So I simply put in my giveaway box.  I imagine it would really leave your hands soft with the shea butter.  Price for Full size is package of 8 soaps for $17.50

I also Received a small one time sample of Free Your Mane Sulfate Free  Shampoo & Conditioner.  The description says It cleanses hair and scalp while natural oils help rebuild your hair’s delicate moisture balance. With an exclusive blend of Brilliant Baobab oil from Africa. Ultra moisturizer Argan oil from Morocco, anti-oxidant rich Pomegranate seed oil and sweet almond oil it will truly  Free Your Mane.

Price Full Size 300ml for $16.00

There simply wasn’t enough of a sample to truly give a review. I really didn’t have enough conditioner for my hair.  So the jury is simply out on this one. I did try it, and it did clean my hair obviously, but it’s so hard to do a review on one use for this particular item. With this being Sulfate Free – This would be ok to use with hair extensions in.  ( I had some in a few years ago – and I had to use Sulfate free products)

I have also a $100 Gift Certificate towards professional Styling Tools & Hair Extensions.  I’m not in need of any of the products that the coupon is good for. As it’s only Good for Hair Extensions, blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons.  Shipping alone is $15.00 . Over All The Box this month was worth more than the $10 I paid for it.  Even though I didn’t fall in love this month with any of the products, that’s ok in my books.

Not Every Box is for Everyone! And it happens.  At least I got lip gloss out of the deal!  I may not “Love it” but I will be sure to use it!
